I visited your store today,I was floored and being in management for years, I was absolutely flabbergasted at how your staff was speaking to the in training young lady, she was the only person that was of canadian decent, and boy was your staff mean to her, I felt so bad I spoke up and voiced as a manger myself, this employee ( sandwitch counter) would not be a good fit to repersent my place of business, even the elderly sitting in ur store was floored. I gave the in training young lady 5 bucks which she than informed she she would have to share her tip,as if being spoken to like a dog in training wast enough. If your going to higher all new to canada employees maybe it would be best to train them on how to treat everyone as a equal.maybe set up voice recording cameras so you can see and hear how your staff treats other staff who are in training or of a different culture, She was a pleasant young Lady, and even asking if our food was almost ready was very intense for her to ask this very unaprochable staff member, Second of all, we waited more than 20 mins to get our breakfast sandwithes because the sandwich lady was only supplying the drive threw to keep her numbers low. Tim hortans management do better when hiring and training. It's been voiced alot on social media and until today I never witnessed it, it's known via social media that even when the staff being treated like this speak up the other 10 employees will state it to be untrue, as a paying customer know that your employees are very inappropriate, was shocking and we were disappointed to know what we been seeing on social media was true across all locations. Do better, be better and treat everyone fairly. To keep it fair you should secd ur staff to have equal people on staff, was sad to see she was the only person of her color on shift and everyone treating her like she had a contagious virus. Disgusting. Bullying is not okay, in any place of business, we will not be returning to...
Read moreWe went yesterday morning at 11:00 am (so a Saturday morning). They were so slow and the amount of people waiting for something from an order or just their order was unacceptable. The items being handed out were no way in any order of customer at all. When the staff was asked (multiple times as well) by a customer if they could check how much longer they went to check but never reported back to the customer. That is horrible customer service. When we finally got what we were waiting for (after 15 minutes) it wasn't even worth the wait. We had ordered a steeped tea which we got right away and then a plain bagel toasted with butter for myself. The tea wasn't even correct in how we ordered it, we ordered it with 3 milk and 3 sugar, we got it with just cream. No milk, no sugar. The bagel was toasted and barely any butter on it, it was like eating a barely toasted plain bagel with nothing on it.
I understand being busy. I understand staff needing training. If this is the case, have your supervisors or managers come out from the back of the store to assist with the busy front store with the struggling staff who are dealing with the walk-in customers, the drive-thru customers, the mobile orders, and the online order pickups. This shouldn't be happening having customers wait 15 minutes for a bagel that just needed to be toasted with butter, or a customer who needed a coffee (this was a customer beside us waiting for 5-10 minutes).
Get your act together and train your staff better. Know your busy times. Be better for your customers. Just overall be a better business and don't rely on the "Tim Hortons" name to always pull you through. Please be better. I have seen this starting to happen at way too many Tim Hortons that they are just not caring that they make customers wait so long, mess up orders, knowing that those customers will come back another day because they want a coffee....
Read moreTheres a group of ladies that work here, and they are amazing. They get your orders to you as quick and as efficiantly as anyone can.
Now, there is also a group of ladies who can puss you off to no end. I have been coming in almost every day for 3 years, as it is. And due to convenience as per how close to my work it is, i will reluctantly be continuing to do so.
My most recent problem with this duo of women, was that their cashier rang in my order. She rang it in exactly how i ordered it. (A farmers sausage wrap, add lettuce tomatoes and ranch.) It was rang in perfectly, and my issue is not with this girl. My order came to 6.88 with my coffee. the same ive been paying every day for the last 2 months ive been ordering it.
The one on the food station, complained about the way it rang in. And went and got management. Management came over, and changed my order. (A BELT, substitute wrap, add chipotle, add ranch, and add a hashbrown)
This procedure not only cost me abou 12% more, but the way it was rang in confused the person on the food station. They didnt put my hashbrown in the wrap, which comes standard in the farmers wrap. Then after they sealed it with the grill, instead of taking the waste like they should when they screw up an order, they opened my wrap, cut the hashbrown, and threw it back together. By the time i got it ten minutes after i placed my order, it was a hot mess everywhere.
I am prettt reasonable with burnt coffee, and small mixups... but this was blatently managerial staff doing their damnedest to milk me for my money. From this experience, im simply going across the street to mcdonalds for breakfast now, and i suggest anyone else who will listen,...
