Having gone for my first time I had an impeccable experience, however going this last Saturday was a chaotic experience. Didnt get menus for about 15 minutes after being sat at a table, took another 15-20 minutes for anyone to ask if we wanted a drink, no one asked if our food was good, and when we went to pay the servers were so overworked and overwhelmed that day, she's shoving food in her face and trying to help take cash at the same time. I get being understaffed and over compensating, but please be more attentive to customers.
My food is generally 100% the best thing i get from here and even that had me nearly in tears because there was things on it not listed on the menu that I couldn't eat, and no one even came to ask how the food was nor did they ask how it was when we were paying (cause mouth full).
The server who took our plates and seen a full plate didn't even ask. That's how disregarded our table was.
I would like to say I'm appalled and disappointed, driving 45 minutes to enjoy a meal with my family while fighting back tears the entire time because I felt ignored and just overall...

The rice wasnāt fresh, and the tempura inside the roll was dry and cold and tasted stale, and in some pieces there was only avocado and it was way overpowering. they used way too much. Also the yam (tempura) was still crunchy and the batter was floating around it! They didnāt even cook it properly! One star.
Sometimes everything is fine, the rice is slightly warm, thereās ripe (not underripe or overripe) pieces of avocado- the right amount so that it compliments everything else not takes away from it, and the yam tempura is fresh and warm. The better is crispy, and the inside is soft and cooked properly. And on those days I love it, and it gets a 4 stars.
But today is one of those days it sucks. Not happy! I couldnāt even finish it. Overall this...

We ate, and I left to get the car while my husband used the restroom. The waiting staff thought we had both left. On his way out of the restaurant, my husband heard our waitress belittling a customer's physical appearance, making rude gestures about him. She was unaware that my husband was there, listening and watching. Mickey was standing there laughing. They eventually realized they were not alone. Horror crossed Miki's face. Her true mean girl nature was exposed. I am so disappointed in Miki. Miki, we may eat at your restaurant, but your customer's money pays your bills and feeds your family, so DON'T bite the hand that feeds you. We will no longer be supporting this business, and maybe other imperfect people...
