Danish Open-Faced Sandwiches
Piled high with fresh toppings on our large homemade rye bread, choose between roast beef, horseradish and crunchy onions, smoked salmon and egg or roasted cardamom pork and purple cabbage. You will need to use a fork and knife with these two sandwiches.
Aunt Ruby's Reuben Sandwiches
A touch of old-fashioned whole grain dijon mustard placed on our signature swedish rye bread with corned beef, sauerkraut, and melted swiss cheese, topped off with a dill pickle. This delicious sandwich is served with our lefse herb chips.
Little Ole's Favourite
Our soft hardanger lefse is smothered in cheddar cheese and melted to perfection. Perfect for hard-to-please appetites!
The Lefse Dog
A locally made european wiener wrapped in our soft potato lefse with mustard, ketchup and dill pickle on the side.
Norwegian Taco Salad
For a little spin on the ordinary, try our new norwegian style taco salad - crisp lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, tangy purple onion, sweet peppers, and grated cheese with your choice of spicy ground beef, chicken or a bean medley. All served in our crunchy potato lefse bowl with salsa and sour cream on the side. As always, a scandinavian dessert is included with your meal.

Norwegian food at its best. The food is amazing. The store has a bakery, restaurant and sells Norwegian gifts and and nicknacks. Our visit to the Lefse House was great although there was no seating in the restaurant part it is very limited. That was okay as we took our food to go and ate at Mirror Lake Park. We ordered the Aunt Ruby’s Reuben Sandwich and the Pound of Pault and they were awesome. Then had the Sandbakkle with the lemon butter for dessert WOW. Everything was tasty and good size portions. The staff is friendly and courteous. The washroom is clean. I definitely recommend this place. Eating the Pound of Pault was very nostalgic as I remember family gatherings and one of the dishes that was served was Pault so I have wonderful memories...

Always amazing food. They have a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options. Although it doesnt look like much from thr outside this little bakery offers a wonderful experience and culture. I have been many times and would say not everything on the menu is for everyone but you can always find something youll like. The baking is to die for. My favorite are the sandbakelse with the lemonbutter. The cinamin buns are good. There is a small gift section to look through as well. The people working here are always extremely sweet and welcoming. Just look at the more negative review from 4 weeks ago. They offered a gift card to try something else to make up for a bad skipthedishes order. They really care about the...

Ordered from Skip the Dishes so providing full stars for both service and atmosphere by default.

Ordered a Reuben sandwich, with some crackers for just over $18.

While the sandwich was good, there was nothing special about it. I know the cost of ingredients have sky rocketed, but I do expect more for $18. The sandwich was tiny, there was little meat. The bread was a bit soggy from the pickle speared on top.

I have heard that the Lefse House is better for the bakery and treats, so I might try again for that reason and update my rating, but I wouldn't order...

Always wonderful food and service. Unique little place that is cozy and sells authentic scandinavian food and gifts. I come every chance I get. Lots of regulars at the lunch hour and limited seating so come before the rush or reserve.

Excellent service, learn how this restaurant makes Lefse and a lot of other Scandinavian desserts. Huge variety, show up Fridays for one of the famous Cinnamon buns they said they make 20 dozen weekly.
