Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Castle Downs

This place is our go-to when we don’t want to cook. A relatively boring review will follow this little story… It says a lot about the kind of people who work there. First of all, service has always been great and timely but there was one time I need to highlight… My husband left a tip, which is something that he sometimes forgets so I was happy. He told me he left 5.00 through debit. Simple enough. Well, he got home with the pizza and minutes after he arrived the dominos guy calls me. I’m like “why is dominos calling me?”. I pick up the phone and the employee who was serving my husband tells me he think my husband may have made a mistake. Turns out he left the guy about 80$ tip on an order that was around 20$ total. I thanked the guy for calling as he could have taken the tip and ran and we probably wouldn’t have noticed for a few days… the guy graciously offered to give us the cash back and we were both so very thankful for his honesty. And yes, we did leave him a bigger tip to express our gratitude towards him. Now back to the basic review… I’ll be honest, there are better pizzas out there but for the price, this is the best option we’ve found. We always go with 2 medium pizzas that feed a family of 5 quite well, often with some leftover for the kids to bring to school the next day. Extra bonus is the points program they have to earn a free pizza (or other option). The freebie always comes at the best time! Gave this North side location a second chance, and as suspected it is no where close to be as good as the south location by where I work even during this 50 percent off March promo deal. Over all quality is not great. 1 Lack of cheese, 2 lack of sauce, 3 crust is dense, 4 dry/over baked (seems rushed, from prep status to quality check is four mins or less, I timed it). I think they turned up the heat and belt speed. Look at the picture, you can easily tell which one is from the south location. Some of you might say this North location gives you big pieces of donair meat, but there‘s barely to no cheese underneath these big thinly sliced pieces of donair meat.
