truly delightful experience! Our recent visit to Piatto in Cavendish exceeded all expectations.

The food was nothing short of exceptional. It's rare to find a place where every slice is as delicious as the last, but this restaurant truly nailed it.

What made our visit even more special was the exceptional service we received. Our group was quite sizable, with numerous children in tow, which can be a handful to say the least. However, the servers at Piatto were incredibly patient and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, and their warm smiles and friendly demeanor made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Despite the challenges of managing a large group with restless kids, the staff remained attentive and understanding throughout the entire meal. They took care of our every request with a genuine willingness to make our dining experience as enjoyable as possible.

In an age where good service can be hard to come by, Piatto truly shines as a beacon of excellence. We left with our bellies full and our hearts warmed by the impeccable hospitality. Nice location and beautiful oven. Ordered a cocktail and received it deconstructed. Then we ordered a salad and three pizzas to be had all at once. A server's dream. We got our salad first (Ceasar salad's home made dressing was tasty but barely and cheese or prosciutto). Twenty minutes later two pizzas came, followed by another lengthy wait before the final pizza. The Dolce pizza was great. Well prepared and drizzled with honey. The kids pizza was ok. The Sicilian, highly overrated with a bland sauce. It was overpowered by the flavour of star anise, or whatever they use in their house-made sausage. Service was average at best, slow and she seemed lethargic at times. When our niece spilled some water, we offered to clean it up and we did. She did bring us some napkins, but didn't offer to help. Very poor service and medicore pizza.

The Vegano, with cheese added, (2 orders) had a small amount of cheese and half the slices only had two small individual topping on them.

The Siciliana, one with extra cheese and one without, both had the same small amount of cheese on them. The dough was undercooked.

Called at 6:30 and they wouldn't answer. Drove there, arriving at 6:46 and was told they are not doing take out because they are too busy, which seems to be a trend with them. Wait in line for a take, were seated at 6:55 and advised the hostess we were ready to order. At 7:05 the server arrived and took our order of 4 pizzas. Pizzas were not served to us until 7:50. There was no warning when we sat down the food was going to take 45min to prepare. This seems extreme. Because it was so late we took the...
