Outpost Bottle Shop — Restaurant in Centre Wellington

I went to the Outpost while visiting Downtown Fergus for a couple drinks with my fiancée and parents. The friendly staff, warm atmosphere, tasty food and unique beers/ ciders kept us there all afternoon. I enjoyed the recommendations of the knowledgeable staff who made sure we enjoyed every drink we ordered. A rugby game was on a TV in the background and the service and conversation were top notch. The setting was fun and inviting with lots of light. We will definitely stop by again next time we are in the area, especially during patio season for the overhead door that opens onto the street and rear patio directly backing onto the Grand River. Oh, what a beautiful and cozy spot! This little bar is perfect for grabbing a quick bite and enjoying some drinks. The host and server were absolutely lovely, very friendly, and made us feel right at home. The view is gorgeous, and the cute tables and seating add so much charm to the place. Went in to get my advent calendar (24 beverages all boxed up) and to try their entry into the Fergus cocktail challenge. Was a great beverage and we also tried their homemade apple donuts. Delicious. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of selection in local beer, ciders, etc for takeout. Great place to enjoy a beverage and there is a patio in the back overlooking the Grand River.
