Overview: Food was was a good portion and did have a nice flavour. Averaged pricing $8-10. The staff were very friendly and helped answering questions. If you’re looking for super authentic ... this is more of a Canadianized version. They have daily specials that they serve only that day but also have staple items that will be there each time you go. “Express” or takeout style service. Food appears to be made fresh and kept on a hot table for when you order. However the roti was made fresh to order. There are two picnic tables inside for you to eat inside or they are close to the river and public spaces are there for you to eat at.
The food: We had the jerk chicken- not super spicy, rice and peas were really good, coleslaw was fine but a little hard to eat due to the size of the pieces. And chicken roti- roti shell was good and the chicken and potatoes inside were cooked perfectly. Flavour was good. Hot sauce was served with our meals but it was more sweet than spicy.

Read moreEdit June 2024 came and tried Cyrry goat for the 1st time and definitely loved it over rice picked up another jar of chutney this time Def worth every penny and cheap for the amount of food you get ......... Tried this Local place today (Friday) and got a chicken roti wish I took a pic but I was too hungry to think of that. Huge portion very filling will Definitely be back with the kids. On a side note the girl in front of me didn't have enough for a patty (maybe $1 short) and without any hesitation the owners (I think) said no problem they gave here one for what she had.
**Edit I have since returned and tried the patties, flakey and unique taste to them awesome and try the chutney and hot sauce 10/10

We ordered the chicken roti and were disappointed to find that each of our roti amounted to little more than dough wrapped around large chunks of spiced potatoes. The “chicken” in the chicken roti came in the form of the odd small piece of shredded chicken.
