Ye Olde Orchard Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Châteauguay

We went there last night me and a friend who was visiting from Sherbrooke.

Last time i went there, with a friend who was visiting from toronto and i wasnt really happy as the server had us wait 20 minutes just for the bill and her attention wasnt directed at the guests. I initially still gave it a 4 stars.

Now this time the service was awesome. So i decided to change my review to mention it.

The food is okay but ive seen better. Dont get me wrong, its tasted good but i feel like something is missing. You know when you taste something and your reaction is "Meaah". Thats exactly it. I'll be adding some pictures of my burger so you can see what you are getting.

Also i ordered a beer from the draft menu. They didnt have it. My friend ordered another one,they didnt have it. I tried another and they came back saying they didnt have it. Why do you put it on the menu if you dont have it? I'm removing one star just for...

This place was wonderful. I shall start with the food. We ordered the Mac 'n' cheese with extra bacon. Very filling and 100% delicious. I have never had mac 'n' cheese so good in my life. It is a good-sized portion. The service was wonderful as well. The waitress was very kind. And the service was quick. Extremely quick. I was expecting to stay about an hour there, but we stayed for about 25 - 30 minutes. It is a bit pricy there, but in my opinion, it is worth it. For the atmosphere, it is beautiful on the inside. However, unfortunately, the music is not very good (in my opinion), and it is a little loud. But that is not a big deal, the reason being for the 5/5 on the atmosphere rating. A little bit of Dublin right in Châteauguay. This pub, part of a few old orchards in Montreal, had everyone’s hopes it would live up to the others standards. Although the few members of the staff that have remained over the years are amazing this place is often a revolving door which takes away from the experience. (Adryanne you rock!) what this place is missing is good marketing and consistent staff. The old age adage comes in handy here, treat your employees right and then will take care of your clients.
