Pizza Maya Chateauguay — Restaurant in Châteauguay

Charged with extras I didn’t ask for and given an order with the wrong ingredients but they refused to refund/compensate for what I was overcharged.

The pizza was always delicious here. Today, i ordered the same as usual, the 2 for 1 medium vegetarian and american pizza and i was overcharged. They added mushrooms to a pizza that doesn’t come with mushrooms. Then charged me 2 extras that i didnt ask for, for 2.50$ each. When i called back, they were less than helpful. They told me “the vegetarian has more than 3 ingredients so we have to charge extras” yet I had their new menu right in front of me and their 2 for 1 menu includes the vegetarian. When i brought that up, they insisted they had to charge the extras and asked me what I wanted them to do. Since I had already started cutting through the pizza to discover there were mushrooms I didn’t ask for i told them I wouldn’t mind keeping the order but I wanted a refund for the extras. They refused, so not only did I have to pick off the wrong ingredients, i had to pay extra for ingredients i neither wanted or received. I requested that a manager call me back but I doubt i’ll ever be ordering...

I chose to compare it to Pizza Pizza because of the price and the quality. Normally we eat at Kenys Pizza (best pizza in Chateauguay) but they were closed for the labor day holiday. And it seems just like many other reviewers that I am not the only one who isn't impressed with the pizza. Based on your responses it seems you have no interest in improving your product and blame everyone else for their honest reviews.

I have a friend who loves your club sandwich, that's why we chose your pizza that night. I probably would have given your business another chance but your responses are not professional at all and I can choose from the other 20 pizza places in chateauguay. Good luck.

We tried Pizza Maya in Sept 2022.

The pizza was just ok. The price was $28 for a medium pepperoni on one half and all dressed on the other.

The sauce was minimal, the bread was very basic and the pepperoni was big but only 1 per slice of pizza.

Unfortunately pizza pizza would have been cheaper and more enjoyable and I try not to eat...

I ordered a chicken wrap and it came to my house stone cold with rotting lettuce and even worse my pita was cold and wet totally falling apart and inedible I called for a replacement or refund and the woman on the phone told me the manager and chef thought it was perfect(it was absolutely disgusting and stunk like garbage) so since they thought it was perfect I got no replacement or consideration the woman on the phone had a horrible attitude and gave me a sassy tone when I confirmed they wouldn’t be doing anything about this horrible service and said “okayyyy have a good one 😌😁😁” and hung up on me. Never eat here I repeat never the people are nasty and the food is even worse than the people making it! Which is incredibly bad I wish I had a picture but it was so gross and smelly I threw it away so no one near me got nauseous.
