Tokyo Sushi — Restaurant in Châteauguay

I recently went to Tokyo Sushi for my birthday. My sister made a reservation and mentioned it was for a birthday. When my partner and I arrived I could not believe how we were greeted! The chef greeted us as at the entrance of the restaurant with a happy birthday wish and a warm smile. They decorated the restaurant just for us, we could not believe it! We started off by ordered the spring rolls; warm, crispy and fresh! the miso soup; absolutely AMAZING, I have never eaten a better miso soup in my life. And the fried chicken by recommendation by the chef which turned out to be one of the most addictive things I have ever eaten! After all our appetizers we chatted with the chef who was an absolute delight with so much energy and amazing stories!! Then we ordered our main meal. My partner ordered the Poke bowl with spicy tuna, which was an amazing portion and so fresh and flavourful! ( i had to steal some to try) and I ordered the Pork Ramen again on recommendation by the chef, and was he ever right again! The pork was so tender and flavourful and the soup itself was so rich, but the kicker was the noodles which had such a beautiful flavour! The chef made the ramen that I ordered and his wife (the other talented chef ) made fresh sushi which my sister ordered ( which i also tried) and it was one of the freshest and most delicious !

The whole experience was absolutely amazing and probably one of the most memorable and delicious birthdays I have ever spent! I would go back ever...

Decided, my partner and I, to try it based on the reviews and comments, and we were not disappointed. We are from out of town, but the ride was worth it.

We ordered 2 bowls of ramen (seafood miso & pork tonkotsu) and 4 plates of different kinds of sushi. The food was really good and surprised me in a good way, since places now tend to lower their quality or reduce the size of their portions while increasing their prices. But not here. The owners seem to be proud of what they do and what they serve. If you go, you'll realize that folks return there for a good reason and are greeted as friends.

From the moment we got there, the welcoming was warm and pleasant. The owners come out of their way to greet you and come talk to you. By the time we finished our meal, we were the only ones in the place, and were able to chat with the owner for 20min about their back story and who they are. A really enjoyable exchange.

Everything about this place is amazing. The environment is very welcoming and calm. The music is very good. There is some anime playing on the TVs. The service is perfect. The owner and his daughter gave us an excellent service. There was no language barrier they speak English and french. They are not afraid to suggest dishes. All the food is homemade and most of it is traditional Japanese dishes, which we do not see often nowadays. Ive had the Porc Ramen half spicy and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Ive had the miso soup as well. Best miso in town thats for sure. I've also had some Mochi for dessert. They were also amazing. I really don't believe there is any flaws in this restaurant. Everything was perfect for me and my parents. I am coming back very soon and this restaurant will be my only restaurant of choice when i need my asian style food.

So come on down everyone! Try it at least once it's worth your time and...
