🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Hidden Gem in Charlottetown – Cedar’s Eatery is a Must-Try!

If you’re looking for the best Lebanese food in Charlottetown, look no further than Cedar’s Eatery. This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, always making sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. The service is top-notch — attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about sharing Lebanese culture and cuisine.

Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely delicious and incredibly authentic. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavour and made with love. The hummus was creamy and fresh, the falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside, and the shawarma was packed with juicy, seasoned meat that melts in your mouth. Their tabbouleh and garlic sauce? Out of this world! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are true to traditional Lebanese roots.

Beyond the food, the ambiance of the restaurant really stands out. Cedar’s Eatery gives off this unique, vintage vibe that feels both cozy and full of character. It’s a blend of old-school charm and cultural flair that sets the perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting PEI, this is one of those places you’ll want to come back to again and again. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the one-of-a-kind atmosphere make Cedar’s Eatery a standout spot in Charlottetown’s dining scene.

Food is no longer good. We come to PEI every year and eat here often. This time the meat, falafel, and rice were cold and salad dressing was very sour. It shocked us to see the prices had gone way up and the food quality had gone way down.

What has happened? Did they change ownership/chef or we came in a wrong day? Very disappointed as we so looked forward to dining here when we come to PEI.

The service staff was the highlight of the restaurant and saved it for the 2-star rating; otherwise it would be 1 star.

Not sure we’re going to give them one more chance or go to a new restaurant?!? So many good restaurants opening in the island now so it won’t be tough to find a good Middle Eastern restaurant around here.

(Looking at the baklava that they charged $9.99 CAD. ...

We ordered appetizers, which were fabulous. We also ordered meals but never received them. We watched people come and go… Two hours later, still no meals so we asked for the check. To her credit, the waitress did immediately bring the check. However, there was no real apology-just an excuse that the kitchen was short-staffed and had to help Bubba with take-aways. If that was the case, why were people who arrived after we arrived served and finished before we finally gave up and asked for the check? This is likely a great restaurant (based on other reviews and our appetizers). However, we can’t commit to saying that without a main meal served. We...

Thought I'd grab a snack before having a drink at Baba's Lounge ($15 for a Can of local cider). I absolutely love Hummus, but what they serve here was really bland despite being made from scratch, I unfortunately ate it to be polite. They really need to improve this appetizer, especially as a gluten-free option with hidden additional costs for no bread. Their (now deleted) response to my review was really weird, too so I switched it to 1 star.
