Recently attended a Just for Laughs comedy show at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The upgraded comfort of the seats caught my attention, but my experience was marred by an unexpected accessibility challenge.

Despite diligently consulting the website, it touted as providing access to the "upper theatre," which is deceiving as the elevator takes you up, but not to the balcony seats, leaving me to navigate an unforeseen flight of stairs.

The irony wasn't lost when even the Usher remarked, "you found the only elevator in Charlottetown that doesn't go to the top floor."

Despite the frustration and my mobility issues, I persevered, eventually reaching my balcony seat and enjoying the show. However, it underscored the importance of clearer website information for patrons with specific...

I went to two of the free shows that were part of the Canada Games cultural component.

Joel Plaskett (+Emergency) played the entire "Ash Tray Rock" album as well as a bunch of other classic songs (& one first time performance of "Campfire Song"). A great show!

On another evening, we also were lucky to see a dance show on the main stage. The troupe from Eskasoni was excellent (& poignant). The choreography covered a whole range of issues in the context of 4 directions & 7 generations. Moving movement!

The local teen gals only did one (Super Bowl halftime style) dance, but they nailed it.

As usual, the venue was welcoming and comfortable. They even have decent...

After the last couple of years we all need something to warm our hearts and remind us of the power of humanity and what it means to care about things that matter…… come see Tall Tale Harbour….. I will confess I am an Alan Doyle fan and his loyalty and love of community and integrity shine through every lyric the voice that makes you feel every emotion but doesn’t overpower the storyline and the talents of the whole cast …….I cried I laughed I felt proud to be Canadian and prouder still to be from the Maritimes NFLD and Labrador where strength comes from supporting each other for the greater good ……..thank you we all needed to be...

This is a great place to go and see a show. I have gone here at least 10 times and you always feel really well taken care of when you go here. I would suggest arriving early as they do tend to start shows on time. The main area has had recent renovations and it was awesome. The gift shop is a little outdated and does not offer much for younger people. My son has watched a few kids shows here and he always liked them. B+ will go again soon!

At the moment of our visit, it was Erica's art that were exposed. Unfortunately, this kind of art is not the kind that we know how to appreciate, so we didn't like it. We thought that the obsession with drawing p*nises on birds is weird. Not much details, looked a little bit botchy. That being said, in the floor below, we liked the maquette/ miniature model
