Coach’s Restaurant & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Went there recently, after the name and presumed ownership change, and I was impressed. It is still a pub but aesthetic changes have been made and the food was quite good.

Fairly standard pub menu, 1 page with a good variety to select from. I chose the Club and to be honest it was the best club sandwich, fries and gravy I had ever had! All three had actual taste and you could tell the secret ingredient wasn't salt.

Definitely going to repeat.

Just returned from Coach's and the quality has diminished since last I visited. Both the quality and portions have gone down...way down! Fifteen dollars for FOUR mozzarella sticks and ~$20 for a steak sandwich which contained very little steak and is in my estimation half the size of previous portions.

Wait staff are great however.

Very disappointing to be honest. For the price paid weighed against the cost it will be quite some time...

Really solid food. Went there for Valentine's day with my girlfriend and daughter. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I'm pretty critical when it comes to restaurants because I enjoy cooking and I'm alright at it. So I look for a place that can cook better then me which isn't too hard but surprisingly I've eaten at a handful of restaurants that really didn't make good food for me. But my meal at outriders was great! Everything was on point except my burger was a bit dry but the taste was excellent I got the burger of the day which had a nice sweet honey mustard sauce I believe it was and the bacon wrapped potato skin was awesome! and my girlfriend's meal was great and my daughter loved her food. Been going to this place for a number of years and never any real issues , till the last 3 visits. With the new owner(s) the portion sizes have been cut back the prices have went up and lots of menu changes at once. The staff is and always has been awesome and super friendly , but the food , which is why we go there and spend our hard earned money , should be top notch! Today we order take out , we work in the area 20 second drive to and from restaurant. Clubhouse was basically a BLT cut once and only 2 pieces of bread, not your normal clubhouse and asked for separated dish for side and didn’t get that so my. What I thought was clubhouse was now soggy and soaked with gravy from the heat and steam from the poutine ! Wish them luck in there future but I don’t think...
