I have lived in Canada for 3 years and it is the first time that I feel discriminated against. We went to try to have dinner on October 29 with my family and two friends. We arrived at the front desk to take a table for 6 people and the boy told us that we would have to wait at least 45 minutes, which we accepted to wait. After 10 minutes the same guy tells us that if we could leave the restaurant and that they would send us a message that the table would be ready. I told him that it was discriminatory because there were more people inside (two elderly people, a family of 8 members and 4 more people sitting) and it was cold to wait 40 minutes The boy in a very arrogant way told me that he could call the manager and I told him: of course I want to talk to him, and I hoped I could fix the situation, but I think it was worse. He also treated me with arrogance and talking to me and hitting his hands when he talked to me telling me that he could hit someone with a tray of food and that he had to leave me and wait my turn outside. The funny thing is that the manager had already seen me where my wife and I were standing. I never saw a waiter with a tray of food, nor did we see anyone else told to wait outside. I left the place and told the manager that he would hear from me very soon. I think it would be important for the human rights commission to do an inspection and investigation for discrimination because I didn't see visible foreigners working in...
Read moreMay 24th...evening...my son, myself and a friend of my son chose to dine at Montana's. Our experience overall was not a good experience..first of all your food is over-priced for the size of the portions....I probably got 10 chippers, which most were broken tiny pieces...not really much in the Chicken Tacos. My son had the same but with a handful of fries...friend had Dippers and handful of fries. Waitress/Manager brought the food.. passed plates across the table instead of around to side of each person...my plate was a little warmer to touch and was passed across the table in front of the others with no warning the plate might be warmer and no offer to set it down. We asked the Bartender/Waiter 3 TIMES for water...never got it...when my son's plate was brought out the Waitress/Manager rounded the end of the bar where other patrons, girls, we're sitting. My son saw these girls grab and touch his dinner plate...waitress laughed came over put my son's plate down...my son commented Oh great my plate has been grabbed at by those girls...Waitress/Manager put the plate down and ignored his comment. Spoke to the bartender/waiter about this.. he stated he would speak ro her about this...if he did she didn't acknowledge any kind of appology to us! Experience rating is 1 Star.. greatly needed improvement required in Customer Service and Presentation! Will be sharing our experience...
Read moreThis was the worst dining experience I have ever had. First our table orderd the spinach dip, which had a a long strain of hair baked into to. We returned the dip and received a new one. Normally when incidents like this happen the dish is comped but we strangely had to pay for their mistake. For the mains we had a Caesar which was drenched in dressing and served with an overcooked 4 Oz chicken breast. It was disgusting I actually spit it out when I tasted it. The second plate was the chicken with buttermilk gravy mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were still raw chicken was tiny and dry. The third plate was the "pulled pork" sandwich which was served barely warm and over sauced which made me feel sick after eating it. The fourth fish was Ribs and chicken wings. The ribs were dry and had a microwave sour taste. To top it all off our server for the evening informed us that the mistake has come from the new staff of cooks who we were told were around the age of 16 - 18 who clearly have no experience in working at this establishment . I could hear the microwave beeping every 30 seconds (I counted several times). I recommend everyone to avoid this place until extreme changes are made as you are potentially exposing yourself to...
