Jenny & Wayne's Chinese Takeout - Catering — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Food was not edible. We spent $110 and the chicken balls were raw, the chicken rice had no flavor, the chicken lo mein was way too salty and we didn't even try the egg rolls...we were beyond disgusted at this point.

I went in and showed the guy that was there (the guy that also served me initially) and he seemed quite disgusted that I couldn't eat it. He refunded me the full amount without any issues. They used to be the go to place when they initially opened but I can honestly say we will never be back.

I only tried here because no other places were open for lunch. I did try China Garden numerous times before I placed an order at this place, but they weren't answering their phone despite their website saying they were open. I will stick with the one place thst is consistent and never steered me wrong...Canton Cafe...

My boyfriend and I decided to try Jenny and Wayne's for Chinese food this evening. It seemed as though there was only one person working and nothing running in the kitchen, as it was very quiet. The fact that nothing was running made us believe there was no actual cooking occurring. We were very disappointed as our food smelt burnt before we even opened the bag. The food tasted like it was made a few days prior and reheated in the microwave. The chicken fried rice was crunchy and very oily. Also, the chicken balls hardly had any chicken in them; they were mostly hard, dry batter. I would not recommend eating the food from here. It's not worth your money at all. Their prices aren't any better than other Chinese restaurants I've eaten from in...

My husband and I tried Jenny & Wayne's tonight for the first time and it was phenomenal! We have been looking for somewhere to be our go-to Chinese food place and we have found it at Jenny & Wayne's. We had a #2 for 2 people and we added a half order of lemon chicken and a half order of beef broccoli. EVERYTHING was SUPER flavorful, fresh and the portions were on par with anywhere else. However, the prices were not. Jenny's prices are FAR better (cheaper) than other Chinese food restaurants, and her food is far better! And Jenny herself is a wonderful lady, so give her a try. You'll definitely be pleased with the quality of the food and the service with a smile, AND, you'll even likely get away a few bucks cheaper than you would...
