Arrived at 7:30 pm for dinner and was told it was a 20-30 minute wait, which was fine. Out of the 7 tables 2 were empty reserved. We went back in at about 7:50 pm when we saw a couple leaving. There was a lone waitress serving the tables and we knew we would be waiting a bit. We sat down and waited about 15 minutes to get our water and order our meal. At around this time a couple walked in and sat at one of the reserved tables(this comes into play later). We got our $11 bruschetta, which was 4 small pieces, and was OK. Its about 8:25 at this point. Then about 10 minutes later, the couple that sat at the reserved table got their ENTREEs. Remember, we ordered our meal before they even arrived. We waited and waited, and the couple was DONE their meal and we STILL hadn't got our entree. We walked out at 9pm with still no food. Waitress gave some BS excuse. We paid for the overpriced bruschetta and left. Overall terrible experience. Im sure the food would have been good if it ever came. Dont come here unless you have 1.5 hours to wait...
Read moreWas looking forward to eating here for a year. We had a party of 5. We got placed in a separate room with little decor but that didn't matter because we were so excited for the room. We ordered the bruschetta- it comes in only 4 pieces but we have 5 pieces. The sever said we could have more but it was extra....not a problem- we just took the 4. It was warm and had no balsamic on it- quite plain and little taste. Then we ordered the special chicken pasta, Ceasar salad, 2 Fettuccine Carbonara and a sausage pSta meal. Unfortunately, there was little taste to the carbonara dishes. Very bland and plain. The sausage pasta dish was good. The Ceasars salad was fair. The special chicken dish was plain and bland. The portion sizes were so small- it didn't even fill anyone up. Then comes the bill- over $150 for just the food. Without a tip. 3 glasses of wine and 2 pops came to $45.00. For a place that we were so eager to try, it was a huge...
Read moreQuick Question: Is BUONO MANGIA in Charlottetown, PEI, a racist place? ...because I went into this restaurant on 8/30 at 5pm and asked for a table for one. The restaurant was empty with only 2 couples eating. An older lady came and told me something like "we are not equipped to serve you". Her statement made no sense to me or I did not understand the meaning of her statement. Hence, I asked her, do I need to make a reservation in order to eat here. She said NO. Basically, I did not get any tangible reason why I could not eat at this restaurant on that day. I walked across to the pizza restaurant in the same shopping center, because I was hungry. While there for about 30mins to 1hr eating, I saw only one white couple go into the Italian restaurant and they were served because they did not come out as quickly as I was made to leave. Everyone deserves to be served at any...
