Mezza Lebanese Kitchen — Restaurant in Charlottetown

I should start that I love Mezza, it’s one of my favourite spots. But I think the Charlottetown location really needs some work. On this visit they were clearly busy, and it was certainly reasonable to expect a wait. I was able to place my order right away, and was told there would likely be 10 minute wait. There were 10 orders ahead of mine, and after 25 minutes, the three staff made it through 4 orders. With six still remaining ahead of mine, I asked for a refund. This then took a 5 minute phone call with manager to provide a refund. Also I’m not sure if it’s standard operating procedure, but mid-way through the wait, a fresh stack of raw chicken was trimmed for shawarma, then was fully cooked on the flat top grill. While receiving my refund, the same trimmer was attempted to be used by another staff member on a cooked chicken stack. Other guests had to tell them to stop and not use it as it was used on the raw chicken stack. I emphasize with the staff, but I think they could use further training...

Mezza provided catering for our film production of 33 cast/crew, and did a wonderful job accommodating our various dietary restrictions. They effectively managed their lunch rush & takeout queue while preparing our order and took the time to show me how they'd packaged everything so I could pass the food out quickly back on set. The Cast & Crew had nothing but compliments about the food, and got back to work on time. We'll definitely be ordering again next time we're working in Charlottetown. 10/10 would recommend for catering large groups - just be sure to order 24 hrs in advance via email to access their catering...

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet with only one other customer eating in. I ordered their signature shawarma bowl and a small fries. The portions are really large and it was quite tasty. The only disappointment was the amount of chicken on top, not nearly enough for the portion size.
