Quality & consistency!! Have been looking for a new Vietnamese restaurant in Charlottetown since my favourite closed a few years ago, and no other spot has checked all the boxes - EXCEPT Saigon Pho! I’ve ordered both delivery and ate in at this restaurant a handful of times now and I am thoroughly impressed! Staff are friendly, food is fresh and delicious each time. Delivery orders (through a third party service) arrive hot and packed separately to ensure the noodles don’t get soggy. I normally order the P7 Special Pho. (Pictured is the P2 with med rare beef) Today I tried the W2 Wonton soup and was pleasantly surprised by the number of wontons, onion, ground meat (which had actual browning on it - a small detail, but shows its fresh & prepared in house) and a nice sized shrimp. Highly recommend. Excellent comfort food, particularly on these cold winter days.

We have been traveling from Vancouver Island, the farthest west of Canada, to this beautiful town on the far east. What a pleasant surprise to find Saigon Pho. The special beef noodle (phở đặc biệt) was so tasty with top notch beef quality. Probably one of the best pho I’ve had from west to east, even in Vietnam. I’m Vietnamese. I know what a good bowl of pho is like. The broth is very tasty and flavorful. The cook must have simmered the marrow soup bones for hours. The noodle is just right, not too soft. The rare beef is tender, feels like tenderloin. The beef ball tastes like homemade with no flour added. The owners and their children are so friendly and attentive. Great food. Great services. Best pho in the Maritimes for sure.

Beautiful family run Vietnamese restaurant. We had the Vietnamese coffee, Wonton Soup, and Special Pho. The coffee was amazing and it came with a cute bear on top, which was such a fun touch! The Wonton Soup is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Honestly, I could drink the broth for days — it’s THAT good, so rich and full of flavor. The Pho was equally delicious. You get a generous portion, and once again, their broths are absolutely to die for. Side note: For my fellow texture-sensitive folks, I personally wasn’t a fan of the meatballs’ texture, they were a bit rubbery and squishy, which threw me off. Nothing wrong with the flavor (it was amazing!), just a heads-up for those who care about texture.

I know you shouldn't expect much of real ethnic food in small town but this was really bad i had to write about it. Not sure what people were eating at on google reviews but i guess they don't know the real deal. We ordered Pho with beef and the soup was disgusting sweat water with no taste (couldn't you add star anise, cinnamon, salt and beef bones and some MSG? Seems like you added sugar and water and a tad of anise. It was sooooo bad. The noodles were all broken up and over cooked and so little. The beef was not thin slice and only like 3 tiny pieces. For $13 come on. Worse was the Bun bowl. When the guy handed it to me i thought it was empty as so light. MY gosh there was literraly 1 1/2 bites of noodle on the bottom. For $14 could you not add another 30 cents of noodles? It was ridiculous how little. The grilled pork was gross and couldnt be found. It has some jar like cha sui sauce on it and think the was 3 shreds with some SALAD MIX *(gross) Should be thai basil and other green. It was so bad i walked out and let the other half pay and could not complain as i would get be nasty. The guy was nice so didn't have the heart but this is not vietnamese food. Worst was price, quantity and quality. Paid $50 FOR 3 and felt ripped off. Go to Mc D instead. I went back and had bagel and banana at hotel as i was not even 1/2 full even after adding extra rip off noodle for $3 as they gave nothing in original bowl (it was such a joke the quantity) Noodle are so cheap. $1.69 a pack - so giving a reasonable amt should cost you more than 25 cents.(esp given this cost me $14 plus 3 to eat plus tip and tax (for something worth $1. or so.

Go eat elsewhere - sorry owner but you gotta change something unless you continue to have customers who don't know the real...

fantastic food, really flavourful with fresh veggies in very big portions - highly recommend! also, the service was excellent! really professional, kind and helpful. I came here with my mom, and she ordered the Pho Satay (beef soup with satay sauce), one of their house specialties - it ended up being too spicy for her (she has some cancer/medication-related sensitivities to spicy food) and when she mentioned it they were extremely kind and helpful, offering to switch the broth, brought us ice water etc. I ended up just switching soups with my mother instead - both soups were phenomenal, but if you can handle spice, I highly highly recommend the Beef Pho Satay, it is soooooo delicious. but the vegetarian soup (noodles with vegetable broth) was also really delicious. wealso ordered the salad rolls which were excellent. we had to take like half our soups home because the portion size was really big-very happy to have...
