Had a really poor experience recently. My wife and I been up due to our fussy newborn and decided to get something to eat at 4:30am. Checked Google and it listed this branch being open 24/7. Ordered online and set off to pick up by the drive thru as instructed. Got there and there was an employee inside. She gestured to me that they were closed and I pointed to my online order on my phone. She scoffed at me and then barely acknowledged my presence until what was apparently their opening time at 5am. She made it seem like it was my fault for following the website and ordering my food online. She mentioned that since covid they only open at 5am... which I accepted. What I didn't like was her indifference, lack of empathy, visible annoyance and how she just slap-dashed my order and didn't even acknowledge me when I said "thank you". I honestly felt less regarded as I am a visible minority. I don't think she would've dealt with another customer like that and even if she did, that does not make it any better. I actually live 2 minutes away from this location but I will never ever visit there again. I will drive all the way to Stratford to get my fix. Read moreI was really happy as they were quick with my order on a regular basis, but on past few weeks when I order from drive thru they ask me to wait in parking for my chai latte which I am not sure why.
The Negative was during this past weeks I got the order incorrect twice. 1) Chai tea latte with oat milk and with brown sugar syrup but instead I got normal coffee latte with chai tea bag in it, luckily I was waiting their as they ask me to park so they made me another drink which ends up 5 more minute of wait. 2) Because of this on September 4th I went a bit late thought it will be quick as their was not a rush time and I ordered the usual chai latte and a plain croissant with extra butter toasted and I went their to the window and their was only one car behind me, they ask me to wait and they made me an order an I left even after waiting when I tried my order instead of chai tea latte with oat milk it was coffee latte and got round croissant which I didn’t saw before and also not toasted properly. So this was the bad experience. This doesn’t happen on a regular basis but if they ask me to wait and I am patiently waiting I expect to have proper order. Read moreWe visited this branch a week ago and noticed that the dining area was relatively quiet when we arrived. We lined up at the counter to place our order but experienced a delay in receiving assistance. After waiting about 5 minutes, we observed a guy staff member walking by without engaging with us, and another staff member also passed by without acknowledging our presence. Ultimately, it took more than 15 minutes before a female staff member was able to assist us. At that point, a line had formed behind us.
While we understand that busy times can occur, it might be beneficial to ensure that all staff members are attentive to customers in line, even during quieter periods. Improving this aspect of customer service could enhance the overall experience for everyone. Just not a...
