Yogi's Food & Bar — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Discovered this bar by chance while on our first visit to PEI and what a find. Great bar with very friendly staff and locals. Food and drink prices very reasonable. Prompt service from all the staff. You can usually judge the quality of a bar and restaurant by the cleanliness of the toilets and on this score its top marks all round.We highly recommend Yogis and it will be our first port of call If we ever get back to the beautiful island that is PEI. I came here since it’s close to my hotel, and was delighted to walk into a traditional and charismatic neighbourhood gin joint. Nothing fancy or pretentious about it, but super friendly staff, reasonably priced and quality food, a (free!) pool table, and a bar occupied with chatty, laughing regulars. Hard to find places like this anymore, I’ll come here anyday over a branded, overpriced, soulless chain brand bar....

I travel a lot for work and happened to be staying close to this place in PEI. I ordered the "Hot Honey Chicken Burger" and can say with certainty that this is one of the best chicken burgers in the Maritimes. Unbelievable flavor in the breading and just the right amount of heat. I will get this every time...
