As an Autistic person (or a person on the Autism Spectrum), I have an extremely difficult time finding restaurants that can successfully accommodate my needs - specifically my audio hypersensitivity to music involving any type of beats, especially snare drums, and electrical guitars. Thus, I highlight and pay special attention to restaurants that are accommodating and truly inclusive. On Sunday, August 22, 2021 in the afternoon, my husband told the owner, Lynn, about my audio hypersensitivity to music involving beats and that I am on the Autism spectrum. In response to my husband informing about my disability, Lynn very quickly - within 1 minute of my husband speaking - turned off the music and said “I can turn the music off” After turning off the music, Lynn said, “my husband is exactly the same way! The first thing he does when he comes in is turn off the music completely.” This is by far the fastest response in any restaurant or store that I have been to, ever in my entire life! I truly am impressed with how quickly Lynn turned off the music
As for the food, it was pretty good, especially the bread, and the price for the All-day breakfast is very reasonable. The potatoes were a bit cold at the time the food was served to me, but it was nice that the cheese was melted on the potatoes. Excellent service and good food at a fairly...

Didn't have time to stay long so took a few baking goods and some were quite good. The heritage house comes with a musky smell which lingers on you long after you left and unfortunately lingers also in some of the baking good I got. It reminded me my dad's mother (long story why I don't call her grandma) that had a shack by a lake and out of it ran a concession for the campers. Old shack by the lake and this incredible old musky smell. Not necessarily a enjoyable walk in memory lane so if something can be done about it, I think this would improve the atmosphere. The entrance is also a bit of a challenge if you're old or reduced mobility and they only take cash which in these days is definitely gonna turn down many customers. As far as the coffee and I will admit I am a bit of a snob, it was not good. But I will return to try the food out of the menu, really aside the musk, it smells...
Read moreThe staff was kind and sociable, the decor taught us about the location and there were free news articles to read about the town. We were excited for this out of the ordinary, home cook'n restaurant. The down side is, coffee for dining in is served in a paper cup, the hashbrowns were processed fries, the bacon wasn't cooked fresh (stale and chewy), the breakfast burrito was beans and rice in a flour tortilla and covered with sweet chili sauce. Thankfully the toast was delicious with strawberry jam. We ate all of it because we are traveling, hungry, and spent a lot...
