Overall, awful service and the staff and management does not show any care for their work or customers. Story below
Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The only reason it gets two stars was because the food was good. It is was not a busy night and only two of us. The waitress took a really long time to even come over and ask for drink orders. She arrived with my martini on the same tray and the other drinks with an ounce of the martini on the tray already. She didn't clean the glass and it left puddles on the table. The food arrives but my friend's received the wrong order! He ordered the Italian Sausage Penne and got the pesto spaghetti. She didn't even stay and ask if it was correct. We spent 5 mins flagging down any waitress and she took it away but didn't apologize. We didn't see anyone for 20 mins! Our waitress returned with the new food and apologized giving half off the plate. She should have come over immediately and better yet at a good restaurant it would be the manager coming over to apologize. After our meal, we are paying and the waitress enter a completely wrong amount into the machine and it was only changed because we noticed. She also did not even check the receipt and have us sign it as that was needed because we used an American card. Have been here 3 times and the service gets...

Walked in at 7PM and met with 2 other friends at Riverhouse for wing night. At 7:20PM we placed our order and at around 7:40PM we moved to a different table and sat with 5 other coworkers (waitress was made aware of the move). Coworkers ordered food as soon as we joined them and their wings were served first at around 8:00PM. My friends’ food followed within 5 mins (8:05PM) at which time I reminded the waitress that I was still waiting for my wings and was told they were coming. At 8:15PM I asked again and was told they were coming. At 8:30PM, when colleagues and friends were done with their wings mine get served. At that point, I was no longer hungry... just frustrated, and I declined the food, leaving the waitress puzzled. I left the restaurant.
The Riverhouse was my favorite restaurant in town due to its inviting set-up but tonight’s experience has forced me to take my business elsewhere. Tonight was my last visit at the establishment.
I hope management reads customers’ feedback here and actions them.
NOTE: While wing nights are traditionally busy, or so I hear... there were empty tables when I got to the restaurant and when I...
Read moreI’m not sure how to rate it. The bad: no printed kids menu. Our waitress spoke very fast so we didn’t understand that the entire kids food was just a plate of tomato sauce on noodles for $10.50. No drink (at least none offered after we asked for water), no side like garlic bread or anything. No protein. If we had known we would have bought ribs which were on special or had the kids share an adult meal. As the kids meal was more than the wings and my kid was actually still hungry after. And he isn’t a generally big eater. I really wish they stated the kid prices and that nothing came with it. Because I’ve never paid that for a kids meal ever and they come with side and a drink
The food was good. Adult prices more reasonable
Kids were excited to sit in the fancy booth
Waitress was ok but a bit quick and not social really with us. Which we were in after a long day of Travel and a car malfunction.
The bathroom was neat.
Also another downside was the menu Didn’t say how much it costs to up charge. It’s actually cheaper to get your fries and buy a side of onion rings. And onion serving size was small considering your...
