John's Fried Chicken Chilliwack — Restaurant in Chilliwack

This highly pleasing and cozy restaurant is located in the heart of Chilliwack which seats around 22 people with very nice, clean tables and solid chairs and has an extensive menu for chicken as well as other mouthwatering appetizers, desserts, and entree’s. The service is top like no other, with around 3 servers who are very polite, amiable, lovely, and efficient with cleaning up and sanitizing with COVID protocols.

I came all the way from Coquitlam to eat this very tender, delicious, and, succulent chicken and other dishes. I sincerely hope that this store would magically move to Coquitlam as it is the best. I repeat, the absolute BEST chicken I have had in my LIFE. As much as the pictures are mouth watering, I have to say, when you first take a bite into the chicken, as well as weather it be crispy, Korean style, a family meal, pop corn chicken, potato wedges, and onion chips. I have to say, these are the best dishes I have had by far; and I’ve had a lot of chicken in my 20 years living on this planet. I’ve tried a plethora of chicken and this John’s Fried Chicken specifically in Chilliwack, is the absolute pinnacle of chicken deliciously.

The absolute best chicken menu in my personal opinion is the crispy chicken as it tastes and feels so much more fresh then other competitor companies such as KFC or Churches as those places, the grease feels very old and in essence makes the chicken taste old. But this restaurant, the chicken feels and tastes amazing!!!!!!! Eat dish is carefully placed and, the chicken is 100% organic and is not frozen like other competitors. The chicken is so fresh that I myself feel a very mesmerizing touch. Unlike other restaurants where the workers just defenestrate the chicken into a bucket, this store carefully handpicks only the best parts of the chicken and discards those that are not.

The chicken wings are one of my favourites. The wings are perfectly seasoned with a touch of spice and done just right, like no other. With the skin, being the perfect amount of crisp and a flowing glow of delicious juice which assembles for a heavenly delight. All the flavor is kept in and on the food. After taking a bite into the mouthwatering chicken, drinking a sip of a soda just makes an aroma of delight. I must say that I truly do recommend to everyone!!! You must try this out and you will not be able to go back to the stereotypical KFC or Churches

The prices are extremely friendly compared to similar competitor restaurants and tastes so much.

Update Ever since the owners went to Asia, the new staff have have just not met the same level of quality and standards previously delivered.

I've been here probably 5 or 6 times since they left, and it's been a hassle and a disappointment 5 out of the 6 times. Granted the 1 positive time they had to fix something and seemed to go the extra mile to do so, and it was really good. But since it just isn't there. They seem more annoyed and feel like they're delivering the same product, when they clearly aren't. Look at the reviews!!

My most recent order, I even asked them to make sure the chicken wasn't overcooked, and still, it was chewy, overcooked and hard. Honestly such a shame, because I've been going here for over a year, and you could feel the love that the owners would put into their food. It has been a family favorite, but lately nobody enjoys it, and there isn't a wow factor.... really disappointed

I've had fried chicken all over Metro Vancouver, and this was one of the best!! Everything is REAL chicken, and there doesn't seem to be any fillers at all. I pulled it apart and scanned it, it's legit chicken coated and fried.

I mean you can tell just by peeling it open... I asked about MSG, and the owner said no msg and no chemical, which to me is massive!!

Im so picky with fried chicken, and I'd rather come here and eat real chicken without fillers than cheap fillers & chemical msg fried Chicken....

I went to John's today usually they are pretty good but today they were a little slow seem like they didn't know what they were doing seems like new owners ? I assume ? They were a little on the crabby side I asked for a 3 piece 2 original and 1 crispy the cook didn't seem to like it 😬 anyways we waited like 10-15 mins to get our food first couple bites weren't to bad I noticed a stench in the gravy smelt like feet 🤦‍♂️ and didn't taste so good we noticed our chicken was a little bigger than usually is I get to my second piece to find blood sweeping out so I poked through the middle to find it was half cooked 🤦‍♂️🤢 I went to tell the cashier best they could do was offer a meal back by than I didn't wanna wait and definitely didn't have a appetite after that i felt a lil gross after having a couple bites of the medium rare chicken 🤢 I don't think I'll go back for my free meal after that, to the response I got 😅 like it was ok 😅 and wasn't that bad they lost a long time...
