Salish Park — Attraction in Chilliwack

I'm giving it 3 for what it was and what it could be again one day. A beautiful setting with a very large duck and goose pond, a small foot path that surrounds it. The fountain in the center of the pond lights up and makes a great back drop for pictures at night. The public library is attached to the park. The problem with the park is that it is currently one of the main meating grounds for people with drug addiction and facing the challenge of homelessness. Sadly something Chilliwack has become known for. Do not leave your car unlocked and at night just don't get out of your car....

This park looks a lot cooler in photos than in person. It does have a pond full of exceptionally angry geese and it has a little playground area which is nice. I like that there's a bit of a path to walk on and some grass. The library is located in the same area, so that could be a plus 😁 Overall, maybe not the best park, but if you're looking for a quick place to take your dog on a quick walk or something then this could be...

Quaint little park sitting between local public Library and a hotel. Has a man made pond at it's center, directly adjacent the hotel. There is a small playground for kids, and nicely maintained grounds. The pond contains koi fish, turtles and is frequented by ducks and other migratory waterfowl. It bears noting that my 3 star rating of this park is based entirely on those that drink and such there. Not a park to stroll at...
