A special thank you to your staff/supervisor Damie. On August 27, my kids and I were coming back from a camping trip and had blown a tire. Tired and exhausted, on our drive back to Vancouver, we stopped by your restaurant's drive thru service to order food. When I was about to pay for our order, I realized that I had dropped my wallet somewhere and could not find it at the time. I tried to cancel my order. Unexpectedly, Damie offered to pay for the order and had given me the option to come back the next day to pay him back. It was really nice of him to offer. I cancelled the order and pulled over to the parking lot to look for my missing wallet. A few minutes later, Damie came out of the restaurant handing us our order. It was extremely kind during a very stressful time. Thank you Popeye's Chicken and Damie for your kindness, compassion and for going above and beyond providing excellent service to your customer. This 5-star review is the least I can do. You are...
Read moreI ordered today with my wife and the chicken was tasty but some of the pieces of chicken itself had hardly any chicken on it, almost like some was removed. I eat a lot of chicken and there was some thighs that didn’t have all the meat on it. I’ve never ate at Popeyes chicken this was the first time. I’m not sure that I would order from them again. I also don’t like how the fries are and you can’t just get regular fries you have to get Cajun fries. We order the eight piece meal which comes with a large order of Cajun fries and 4 biscuits. The biscuits were really tasty and the whole thing lasted me my wife and my son to meals but other than that I was kind of disappointed that some of the chicken had hardly any chicken on it. My wife said that the people were really nice and tried to strike up a conversation with her while she was there and they were polite and it was quick service. The three stars is for the missing chicken but it was delicious so I had to...
Read moreTasty chicken, I really like the spicy version though it'd be nice if they had something spicier. The chicken is always hot with crispy skin and the biscuits are warm and buttery. I'm not a fan of their southern gravy, which is standard gravy that has chicken and rice bits. The cajun fries are tasty and well seasoned, but more often than not it is more limp than crispy. I like the fried hand pies, very reminiscent of the McD's pies. The shrimp is nothing to write home about, they only thing I really recommend is the chicken and biscuit. Evertime I've gone their, all the staff that I could see were wearing masks over their nose, so they seem to be taking covid seriously. My only complaint is that it can be hard to communicate with the drive thru operator sometimes. Unfortunately, it's hard to understand someone with a thick accent, talking through a mask...
