Stayed in this hotel in December through work - we had four weeks of training and conferences and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.

The hotel is very nice and for my experience, very clean. We were provided with prepared lunches and dinners every day that I was there and the food was great! The layout is simple on all the floors, the pool and workout area are easy to find. The hotel security seemed fine to me although, I was warned not to leave anything of value in my vehicle. The hotel is near Old Downtown, Historical Chilliwack which is on the Nort-East side of the city.

DT Chilliwack is nice but also pretty impoverished. There are lots of homeless around and not alot of services to around sister them. The hotel has had a large park with a beautiful pond, frequented by the homeless during the day as spaces between the trees provide a hiding place for some. There is security roaming around and removing people so I never felt unsafe in my walks around the pond.

There are lots of restaurants within walking distance but because we went in December and it was clear and windy, I was too chicken to walk far - I didn't come prepared for the cold.

My room was on the 7th floor and had beautiful views of the valley and mountains. The room faced ESE but afforded wonderful views of the Cascade Range and the valley to the south. The room consisted of one king-size bed, a desk, a lounge chair, a dresser with TV, bedside tables, a closet with a safe and a decently sized bathroom with tub and great water pressure and temperature. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for ME. Not so for colleagues of mine.

The hotel has a restaurant which I haven't tried yet but have a 15% discount voucher for. Maybe my last night here.

The hotel has and decent sized pool 15-20 metres long and deep enough to be fun. Unfortunately during my stay the pool was pretty cold . Fortunately , they and so have and so have hotntub which was the perfect temperature to soak and warm one-self after a day of standing and being around lots of people.

The service was great. All staff I met in the halls, lobby, and pool were very friendly and helpful. This hotel practices being green which provides each guest with the option of cleaning or not cleaning the room on a daily basis, replacing towels daily, etc. I chose to leave everything until the end of my stay in order to "preserve water and protect the environment." Hope it actually helps.

I would return and stay at this hotel for work or personal business. Rates...

I'm disgusted at the price that was charged for the catering services provided at the Coast hotel in Chilliwack BC, We were staying in the hotel as my girlfriends family was there to take care of their ill father in the local hospital, After he passed away because of the fact many of the family members including ourselves were staying there we thought it would be best to hold his Celebration of life service in there banquet facility. We had no idea how many would be attending so we settled with a number of 75 to be safe, They reduced the rate of the hall as more relatives were coming from out of town to stay there as well. The hall was $350 for the use of 4 hrs the catering would be priced at $2600+ for Coffee/ Tea, juice and finger foods, I now wished I would of taken a picture of the food provided and the servers that were to look over us. 1 tray of sandwiches, 1 tray of veggies and dip, 1 tray of 72 small samosas and 72 meatballs and 1 tray of fresh fruit. That's it and that's all for $2600+ well I'm know Einstein but there is no way that would amount to $2600 unless it was flown in from France or something, I feel they took advantage of a very caring family during a sad chapter in their life at the loss of their Father. The servers were young people not even trained in the proper etiquette of serving, at one point I had to address the front desk that the young lad looking over us has to be told that he can't just zone in on people and take their plate from under them while they still had food in their hands and on their plate, at least not without first asking if they were even finished with their plate. I plan to take this further than just this review as I feel this family was taken great advantage of and at this point I don't recommend anyone to stay with Coast Hotels until this matter is corrected. I work for "United" and stay in hotels over 200+ times a year and will pass this info on to my colleagues to boycott this chain of Hotels . With the price of the hall and Safeway's doing the catering I believe it would of been under $1000. In finishing, the stay in the hotel rooms was fine. The front desk help was great. This review is solely based on the exorbitant costs of the " catering services provided." The hotel stay I would rate at 4 stars but as far as the catering I won't...

We recently stayed here for 4 nights during some family events in and around Chilliwack. Given the options in the area, overall we were pleased with our experience.

The main lobby of the hotel is modern and updated, the rest of the hotel is old and worn - our room was clean and the beds were comfy, but there were huge gouges and marks all over all the walls a drip stain under the window. The carpet was old and worn, but the age showed the most in the bathoom - I'd say maybe 80% of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked, chipped or had some sort of mark on them which initially made it look very dirty. The walls were stained/marked up in here, as was the door. There were glass cups next to the ice bucket, but they were not sealed in anything and had water marks on them, just all these little things that put me off initially. But again, the room was overall clean. The window in our room opened, but there was no screen so we couldn't keep it open which was too bad because at night it would have been nice to turn off the AC and just have the breeze.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful, we initially said we wouldn't need daily maid service (they have a green initiative to try to help the environment, was happy to participate). When halfway through our trip we decided on asking them to come in for a quick tidy/towel swap and they were happy to oblige.

The restaurant on site less than impressive - on the first night we were there, we went to the bar for a drink before going to bed, the one server clearly had friends there, so they were sitting on the patio being very loud, smoking out there, and even though we had been told they were not going to be serving anymore, they had no trouble pouring shots for that crowed. Breakfast was disappointing but most buffets in hotels are.

Location itself is not in the BEST area, but they do have security at night for the parking lot which was appreciated.

Again, overall, we were pleased with our stay. The location, with a grocery store, Starbucks and such just across the street, a great pizza place down the block & easy drives to our destinations like Harrison and Bridal Falls, we will not rule out staying here...

April 2021 would have been 5 stars but June dropped it to no stars if I could. Pet owners note that the 4 legged, furry family members do not include your cat (in April no problem, but June apparently is different). Info is not found on the website, it's not mentioned in your pre-booking confirmation. You find out when taking your pet up to your room and the lady at front desk screeches at you across the lobby that cats are not allowed because they pee, scratch and wreck the rooms (there was no complaint from my stay in April. My cat uses a litter box and a scratching post so I didn't expect any complaints). The front desk person requires you to walk over to them in order to stop the embarrassment of attention from all in the lobby, brought about by her yelling, and there she will continue to harass you. After 10 to 15 minutes, with the warning of an email being sent to some superior, you are allowed to your room, with your cat (for whom you're paying an extra $20 per night). An email sent that night to clarify whether you can stay or not and requesting information goes unanswered. A second request the next day also goes unanswered. No apologies for not providing information, no apologies for a staff member harassing and embarrassing a guest...I can't imagine running my business this way. It makes for a tense uncomfortable trip, especially coming back from a long day at work to find the same person at the front desk and not wanting to draw attention by asking for extra coffee for your room. Staying here in April was great and I recommended this hotel to colleagues, friends and family. I'll be updating them on why I wouldn't consider staying here again. Breakfast note: in a plastic container, on it's side in a plastic bag so that all the ingredients of your eggs benedict are in a mixed lump at the side of the dish when room service delivers it. Some people may like that, I didn't appreciate paying $20 for it.

I recently had an adventurous trip to Cultus Lake Waterpark. While I enjoyed the experience, I wouldn't choose to stay at the hotel again. We spent two nights and three days there, and I believe there are several areas for improvement that could enhance the experience for future guests. 1. Upon checking in for two rooms, we received a last-minute notice that the hotel was short-staffed and unable to clean our rooms. We were advised to contact the front desk for clean towels or any other needs during our stay. 2. The chlorine levels in the swimming pool and hot tub felt excessive, which may discourage guests from enjoying these amenities. A better balance might create a more pleasant experience. 3. There were times when an unpleasant odor resembling manure filled the air. Addressing the source of this smell, particularly in the early morning, would significantly improve guest comfort. 4. The room rates seemed somewhat high considering the amenities offered. A review of pricing in relation to the services provided could result in better value for guests. 5. While the majority of the staff were professional and polite, a few could benefit from enhanced hospitality training. Improving customer service could help create a more welcoming atmosphere. 6. The heated toilet seats and clean sheets were positive aspects of our stay; however, the sheets felt somewhat hospital-like. Upgrading the bedding could provide a more comfortable experience. 7. There were instances of individuals wandering in the back area of the hotel park that raised safety concerns. Increasing security measures in that area could enhance guest safety. 8. The restaurant's portion sizes were generous, but offering a variety of portion options might better cater to different appetites and dining preferences. Overall, with improvements in these areas, the hotel could greatly enhance the experience for its guests.

It's a difficult review to give, probably an honest 3.5. This hotel offers a "green" policy, which is not particularly unique, but I have issues with how they're implementing it. The rooms aren't dirty, but they're also not perfectly clean. Given the policy, your room cleanliness is determined by all of the decisions of previous guests on if they chose the green option. It's effectively the difference between a room being cleaned 365 days (or hours) a year, or 183 days (or hours). I would always want to stay in the room that had been cleaned more frequently, while acknowledging the benefits of being eco friendly. When electing to use the green option you can text for items to be delivered, but that's sort of a hassle and it takes longer. It also is sorta just a cost-saving measure. A better green policy is the following: - Housekeeping makes the bed (no change of sheets), towels are replaced only if they on the floor, coffee and soap are refilled if needed. -If a room chooses a green option, housekeeping dedicates 1.25x the amount of time upon checkout to ensure that in the long run the rooms do not get too dirty to clean in the standard amount of time. Breakfast was stellar. Buffet style and lots of variety and options. When interacting with staff in-person, what a great experience. They're well trained, knowledgeable, and very kind. Location-wise the hotel doesn't seem to have any direct competition, and so I would stay here again as it is okay, but the potential is there to be great.
