If I could give a zero star rating I would!!!! After kicking out my sister and my hearing impaired grandmother for talking to loud I decided to give you a call. I asked to speak to the manager on duty or if the owner was available, the lady on the phone was very nice and then handed the phone to you..... that's where the problems started.. when the owner answered the phone he was nothing but disrespectful. I asked why my grandmother and sister were just refused service, my grandmother has been going to Clarks for 30 years. She has had hearing problems for 30 years. He told me it was because my sister was yelling at my grandmother when asking her where she would like to sit. You were worried that your other customers having lunch were being disturbed..... you had ONE other table in there a young family. if you were worried about them disturbing the restaurant then you could have asked them to sit in a further away section. YOU were the one speaking rudely towards the both of them. my grandmother told you that she couldn't hear what you were saying then when you did not answer her she then asked my sister what you were saying. My sister told her that they were getting in trouble for speaking to loud. My grandmother then looked you in the eyes and said she was DEAF !!!!!!! You told them that it didn't matter that she had a hearing impairment that you had other customers..... you then just walked away from them. That would be When the lovely lady that was working as the server walked up to them apologizing profusely for YOUR behavior, she asked if they would like to see a menu and get them some drinks to start and my sister said no I think we will be going somewhere else. WE WILL BE REPORTING YOU FOR DISCRIMINATION!
P.S If you are looking for some gooood eats in Cold Lake North Check out the Pour House!!! Nobody is discriminated against there! and the owners there know how to...

Took my 87 year old Grandmother (hearing impaired , she has a hearing aid but she still can’t hear well at all) to Clark’s eatery for lunch today and was told I’m talking to loud before she was even seated . I was apparently disturbing other customers when we literally just walked in the door and there was one other family that walked in right before us ( we watched them walk up as it takes quite a while for her to walk from the car with her walker) , a mom and dad and two children. ( they did not look like we were disturbing them the mom actually looked at me and cracked a little smile ) Side note my grandmother has lived in cold lake since 1984 and Clark’s has always been her favourite place to go( She has been hearing impaired since before I was born and we never had an issue until this new owners taking over now) she recently has had many health issues and this was the first time she has left the house in months close to a year for anything other than medical appointments. So all in all if you’re hearing impaired or someone in your family is do not visit Clark’s . Their owner has no respect for the elderly in our community which come on buddy give in twenty years and you’ll be just as old as she is , So sad considering people are just trying to support local but when you’re treated like that you’ll never go back . P.S I got my sister to call and talk to the owner ( I was so upset That he was treating my grandmother that way I couldn’t even call and speak to myself ) and he’s went off yelling You can come back if you figure out how to talk to...
Read moreOk. Food was really fresh and enough to fill us up. We had the special which was the beef dip n fries n gravy. The view was of the beautifull cold Lake. This lake is deep and huge. ( I grew up here from 1962 till 1986). Clean and clear. The reasteraunt had a really homey atmosphere that you could not look at everything and soak it up in one sitting. The waitresses were polite. BUT. As one waitress came to work it caught our eye. She was covered in white cat or dog hair which she attempted to lint brush off while behind the serving counter. Didn't work too well. She couldn't leave her nose alone, I don't mean the outside of her nose either. She had no front teeth and the ones beside were dark and brownish. She was there for only five min and popped a smoke into her mouth and headed out the back door. Then she was serving. Yes I have a problem with this waitress. Even though she didn't serve...
