Lucky Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Lacombe

I ordered in house, for take out…Owner served me.. he talked me out of ordering as much as I wanted.. which I was grateful for after I got the food. I ordered 3 dishes: pineapple chicken balls, ginger beef, and Shanghai noodles..then spring rolls. It cost $69… I was SHOCKED at this price. The owner wouldn’t let me get Shanghai noodle with any pkg… told me I HAD to order everything individually.

Took 30 min, so not a bad time amount…when I got home… the chicken balls were burnt, the Shanghai noodle were over cooked and almost mush, the ginger beef was sooo burnt, and sauces-less, it was like chewing on beef jerky… the only thing that was good were the spring rolls…

I have never had Chinese food this bad before… and I paid $69..

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I would give minus a thousand stars if I could. The man who helped me had the filthiest hands I've seen in a loooong time! The debit machine was so greasy, it almost slipped from my hands. Now on to the food. The Almond Chicken was rock, I mean, rock hard. The "Chicken" Chow Mein contained a jelly like substance that I can only assume was meat, and the fried rice reeked like week old Thanksgiving turkey. The Ginger Beef and Egg Rolls? Just as disgusting as the rest. All of this for $70 and that doesn't include the diarrhea meds I'm sure to need. Avoid this dump like the plague, which coincidentally I now feel...

Just ordered take out dinner of four. I was floored on how yummy it was. sweet n sour chicken balls were actually chunks of chicken that were breaded . Ginger beef was on point the dry ribs were moist and tasted like they just came out of a smoker egg rolls were kicka**. Massive! I really enjoyed that you could actually taste the food and it just wasn’t a soup dish of sticky sauce or swimming in liquid. Their sweet sauce was very unique with fresh cut pineapple in it and it was separate which is awesome.
