Subway — Restaurant in City of Lacombe

We came to subway me and my Girlfriend during our lunch hour right before ordering we checked our funds in our account. We had enough to pay for the subs, we proceeded throughout the line and when it came to pay we asked to do a split tender. My Girlfriend swiped her Prepaid visa that had 25$ on it and on the computer it said “insufficient funds”. So I asked to pay the remaining amount. She said the amount has not changed and it was still 27$. And so we checked the account for if the money went through on my Girlfriends phone, behold the money was gone with the date and a time stamp. This was ridiculous it took the money but wouldn’t change just kept saying “insufficient funds”. The lady helping seemed new so we were patient and ended up waiting a extra 45 therefore making us late for school. The lady would not help what so ever will definitely not be making a trip there any time soon. This...

To give a 5 Star for food, although everything was fresh, crisp and delicious as usual, they would have to add Peace River Pie to the menu, or at least bring back the Roast Beef Sub. A five star for service would be given, if they could ever remember to include serviettes with the meal to stay. It is pretty much self service and their thought Is that once you pay, that's all you want. Next please. If you want a little privacy for a family meal with discussion then we're in the wrong place. It is hard to give a 5 Star for atmosphere, when there is just a plate glass door, a few windows, bright fluorescent lighting, ( At least we can see to read the menu) So, for ambience, I say not. Otherwise clean, friendly staff, fresh food with a good selection, and reasonably fast service. *Just reading what I wrote. We see this alot in newspaper headlines. I meant to write this review a while back but now is as good a time as any. All of the staff here are insanely good at their jobs. To the point I got into the truck with my husband and had to tell him how awesome they were and i made the mental note to make sure to make a review eventually. This place is always clean and this is the fastest subway i have ever been in. The staff make sandwiches like they have 10 arms they are so efficient but never rush you. They can be super busy at lunchtime with a big line up and get people's orders done in record time and to perfection. (That is what happened when I went in) Not only that, but they are always so sweet towards my daughter and just give off positive vibes in general. Even with masks on you can tell they do their job with a smile on their face and are so polite to customers and there is pride...
