Kosmos Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in City of Leduc

Sat at the door for over 15 minutes ...... restaurant was dead only 3 tables. When we finally got a table we waited another 20 minutes.We ordered our drinks and that took forever we were then served flat pop....when we brought it up to the server it was like no care. I then asked for the bill, 21 dollars for flat pop I laughed. Spoke with the manager and she was like "are you sure you don't want to stay?" I let her know I had zero interest in staying if I just waited over 40 minutes for flat pop I was not paying the over priced items for likely cold and gross food.

This place used to be great!!! However it has extremely gone down hill. This was also a Saturday evening, I should have got the hint when the restaurant had hardly anyone in it

UPDATE: Just received a reply from the owner full of excuses however I did NOT visit the restaurant on April 22 when the excuses are being made for. I visited the restaurant on April 15. I am not interested in any gift certificates being mailed to me as I have no intention on returning. We were served our drinks by a young guy and then a girl.

We attended the restaurant at approximately 8pm give or take a few minutes.

( Also as an owner having to work in your restaurant does not make me feel bad for you situation those are things you do to run your business. )

Hi Manda I am very sorry that you had this experience. Gaby and myself own Kosmos and I know it wasn't slower earlier as I, myself was serving out front. It was quite busy actually. The server that was serving is usually a very good server. Her name is Anna and there are many reviews where our guests love her. I am so sorry you had a bad experience and am hoping that you will give us another try. Yesterday was a very busy day. We had 35 in our boardroom in the afternoon, served 2 funerals and catered an event for 250 guests in the afternoon. That is one of the reasons why I was serving out front. I am terribly sorry, I will speak with the staff about being more attentive to the entry so that guests do not go unattended to. I would be more than happy to mail you a gift certificate, if given the chance. Please accept my apologies. Kindest Regards...

We had the absolute pleasure of using Kosmos catering for our wedding at the Whitewood Barn on August 23, 2025. Sharon is amazing to work with! She is very responsive to emails and calls, and takes your guests allergies and sensitives very seriously. The food was so delicious at our wedding and it was hot for all of our 170 guests in a buffet style. Our guests were surprised at how fresh the food was and that it was constantly being replenished during the buffet time. Kosmos is a full experience that includes all dinnerware and silverware and napkins, including glassware, and teas, coffee, etc. They worked seamlessly with our decorators to ensure our tables looked fantastic prior to our guests arriving. Plates were taken away in a quick amount of time for cleaning tables and the staff was so kind on the day. We have heard so many compliments about the food from the day and how they had some unique items on the menu that aren’t typical wedding buffet food, like our panna cotta and sticky toffee pudding desserts. We had one specific guest with countless food allergies who often has issues with caterers, but she said that her meal from Kosmos was one of the best she has ever had at an event. I highly recommend Kosmos for any catering event as they were so easy to deal with and made everything stress free. I also recommend doing their tasting that they offer with catering as it allowed us to try dishes we probably would not have tried otherwise, and we ended up picking some of these items for...

OK now I'm going threw the most horrible tragic event in my life an my family's life . Need to eat so I took the wife out an it was quiet an kinda low lighting. Exactly what I wanted as the wife suggested it for that reason an the food was great with the waiter also top notch. I shall return in the future hopefully in happy times. We were on the dinning room as they also have a lounge but we are not drinkers. So to myself i do believe it looks as Kosmos has it all covered. Free refills on pop not booze you drinkers .lol. an the pizza we had was a great quality that is above the average pizza . It tasted like it was dam i going demolish this thing (pizza) at what will my wife eat. I should order another as I only want to be fair an that way it won't show so bad when I inhale each piece. As my sad family grieves KOSMOS gave me great food atmosphere an made a bad day a little less bad . My tastbuds happy dance at KOSMOS. Thanks again an we be back oh wow I forgot about the cheesecake. How could I have forgotten as that was fabulous an just like oh wow that's incredible when it brings you to that moment of your mouth being in complete pleasure not even able to speak for a few .
