Vietnam Paradise Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Leduc

After reading all the amazing reviews we decided to order in. First of all, we only received half of our food. I called the restaurant and he got defensive saying he sent two XL pho's in the bag, but we only had one. That's fine, maybe the skip driver took the other one? We gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and put in a missing item complaint with Skip. My husband and I shared what we had. It's the worst Pho we've ever had. The broth was incredibly bland. The only flavor that came from the pho was from the hoisin sauce we added from our own fridge. The meat was gross. It was tasteless, dry and tasted old. They didn't add any basil. There was less meat than there was supposed to be. Over all, incredibly bland. My husband never has any complaints about food, but he did about this. Update: may 2025 We decided to give them another try. The food tastes fine but it's so bland. They do the bare minimum. No garnish or vegetables for presentation and flavor. Picture for reference. After supporting this resturant many times previous, we will not be back. The deceitfulness they showed on our last visit, was a real turn off! After asking for our bill, we were given a bill that that apparently wasn't ours. Then they turned around and decietfully grabbed another bill to hand to us. Ridiciliously and shamelessly asking for more noney. I noticed after paying the bill that there were items we were being charged for that we did not order. After asking them to fix it, they laughed like it was something funny. I had to do this three times with her as she did not know how to count money. Shorting me of the correct amount each time. Meanwhile she was laughing the entire time and speaking in her native lounge. That was rude and we were unimpressed! Moral of the story, they are deceitful and who knows how many customers they have done this to. Don't support this kind of decietfulness, spend your money where it is...

I have been here many times in the past. I was there today to order take out. The main man who deals with customers was too busy playing on his phone to provide good service. I had to get his attention so he would take my order. There were no customers in the restaurant. When I placed the order and then paid for it, I provided a thermal bag to place the food in. I asked him to place the food in the bag. I asked how long until the order would be ready. He said 15 mins. I came back in to pick up the food and it was just sitting on the counter rather than in the bag I had provided to stay warm. There was no other customers in the restaurant. It was dead quiet. But he was just sitting there on his phone. He couldn’t bother to place the food in the bag I provided or even to acknowledge me. Quite rude. When I got the food home, I noticed that the portion sizes have gotten smaller as well. Less value. I won’t be going back...
