i will start out by saying this again, i have yet to find a bad restaurant in leduc!!!

so today we went out for my wife's birthday, they wanted sushi so i figured they'd find out where they wanted to go. SUPRISE!!! there's sushi in leduc. great, we don't have to go far. so it's a very nice setup inside with the booths being swapped out for tables and chairs in a way that gives you a more private setting with vertical wood dividers that really match the setting, really with i took pictures for this as i'm a bit too exhausted to go into detail about it. they have it set up so you won't be harassed by your waiter until you're ready as they have call buttons on your table to press when ready. once we all figured out what we wanted (5 of us) we buzzed the button and our awesome waiter (hope you're reading this dude because you really excelled at your job tonight) gave a little insight into some things and i ended up trying tobico (small fish eggs), which i may have spelled wrong, and my wife was sold on the blue fin tuna tower, we also ordered a spread of other things including the electric shock, ring of fire, boston.... not sure about the rest. there wasn't anything we didn't like, adventurous or not.

if you like sushi, this place does not disappoint. I hope the whole staff knows that they have a really great thing going here from our experience tonight. great food, great service, great atmosphere, great parking. what more...

This is a nice sushi place in Leduc. It was our first time trying it out. We were quickly seated in a semi-private area that only had tables for 2. The staff were very friendly. They handed us the menus and asked us to ring the buzzer on the table when we were ready. When we did, it was a loud annoying buzz! I didn't want to use it again.

We started with Takoyaki and a pot of green tea. Our main was the "Small" Chef's Platter. It had Alaskan Rolls, BC Rolls, Crunchy Oilers Rolls, Salmon Maki, Tuna Maki, Cucumber Maki, 4 Salmon Nigiri, and 4 Tuna Nigiri.

The Takoyaki were very tasty - but hot! Don't pop one in your mouth immediately! Ouch.

The varied sushi platter was average. Most were rolled nicely, and the presentation was pleasant. We wanted a variety, but the flavors were very mild for all of the sushi, and it got a bit boring. The Alaskan Rolls at least had smoked salmon on top... this was the only variation in flavor (other than the salmon vs tuna nigiri). We knew we were going home with leftovers when we ordered so the quantity wasn't a surprise.

I'd suggest swapping out the BC Rolls with something else that brings a stronger flavor, just for variety.

When we left, we were cheerfully hailed by the chef and the server. We...

Yet again an insanely delicious dinner was had. I ordered take-out, and the only problem I had was unfortunately the plastic container was touching the top of some of the sushi with cream cheese on the top, so that messed that dish up a little bit.

But apart from that, everything was AMAZING as always!

I have been to this Sushi restaurant multiple times over the last bunch of years, and I plan to again in the future. Namely visiting out of town, but LOVING IT!

I'm so full and stuffed, and I have a smug sense of satisfaction after stuffing my face with such delicious food from here.

The staff were polite the whole time, the food was made way faster than they said it would take, it is a really nice atmosphere inside (even though I just came to order take-out).

Whether you are eating in, taking out, or whatever, I would recommend this place 11 out of every 10 times asked.

EAT HERE AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I'm just hoping they figure out in the future some way to protect from the plastic lid touching some of the more elaborate items. Because that's honestly the only thing I would want to...

Go here. Its the bomb. The owner Jackie is so warm and welcoming. The Koi fish by the bar are stunning. The bathrooms smell super fresh. Tones of parking. The SUSHI and TAPAS are amazing. My favourite is the bacon wrapped scallops that come drizzled with this amazing sauce that makes you lick your fingers. These guys made me a special Philadelphia Roll, with my own lactose free cream cheese and it was the BOMB! The sashimi is so fresh you'd think it came straight from the Vancouver coast. Authentic Japanese with the fancy greeting when you walk in, the paintings on the walls, the particians between booths, everything legit. Hands down my favourite sushi place in Alberta. Go here. You won't be disappointed by any means, and make sure to say hi to the Koi fishes.

Went here thinking we could get ramen but I was wrong! Either way, we got sushi, spring rolls and the udon noodle soup. I wasn't a big fan of the soup but the sushi was absolutely amazing. I'm not here to rave about the food as much (even though it was great) as I am here to rave about the waitress we had. She was so helpful, always checking up on us and she even spoke to the chef about my soup even though my boyfriend enjoyed his. We just had the most wonderful experience having her as our waitress. I believe her name was Katlynn. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. Oh and the ambiance was pretty great too! Will definitely be coming back for more sushi 😊.
