Original Joe's — Restaurant in City of Leduc

My family and I regularly enjoyed visiting here but after today won't be back. Poor management, poor service. Rude staff.

We decided to try breakfast here for the first time, we've had the same waitress a few times and she is often rude. Today was no exception. We placed our order, didn't see the waitress until someone else dropped our food off. Looked at the plate and it wasn't what was ordered, we waited for the waitress to return. Instead of taking the food back to the kitchen someone dropped off a plate of 'chorizo' that was supposed to come on the food. Well it looked like canned cat food, sliced meat on a plate complete with grease drippings. Disgusting. Turns out they didn't have the proper ingredients but they didn't notify us and instead served us something different. A vegan meat replacement and the wrong dish.

We told the waitress the issue and that it was unacceptable how it was served and handled. She gave us an attitude filled response. The waitress offered no useful solution and snarkily said "I don't like how you're talking to me". We were pretty reasonable. She offered no solution. We asked to talk to the manager who came to the table and said "what's up". Not how can I help you or is everything okay. Just casual and also rude. Turns out she was the one that dropped off the cat food at our table. She responded with "I could have brought it back with the chorizo ground up on it" as if we wouldnt have noticed or that it would have been any better. Super unprofessional. She also offered no solution or apology for the poor service or poor food presentation. We ended up walking out of the restaurant.

Terrible service. Original joes should be embarrassed by the staff at this location. Unprofessional and rude. Dissappointing for...

Four of us girlfriends came in here on Friday night around 5:45 and the place was already packed. Waited 5 minutes tops to be seated and our server was fantastic! (cant remember her name, long dark hair) Love the dim lights in this establishment, just sets the perfect ambience. Two of us had burgers, one the Teriyaki rice bowl which I had a bite of and it was delicious. I had the beef dip and omg the horseradish mayo is amazing! I really wanted a steak supper but hopefully it's added on the menu soon. When you order a burger or handheld such as the beef dip you get a choice of 2 side's. The dill dip for the fries is the bomb and the coleslaw is homemade! The only small issue we had was having to flag someone down for condiments because they were too busy to check. Was my first time here but definitely won't be my last, great experience all around. They could easily expand to a bigger location because by the time 6:15 came around there was a lineup of people waiting for a table. We will definitely be back and can't wait for summer to try the patio. Thanks OJ's for a great break from all this Christmas madness. You have amazing staff, everyone...

Just got home from OJs Leduc. Was very bad all around. Had one drink to start and ordered food. Food took long time to come, well over 30 minutes likely closer to 45 minutes but I didn’t really time it. But It was cold and burgers/steaks dry like they’d been sitting. Server never checked to see how food was; never a chance to ask for ketchup for fries. Never asked if we wanted another drink; I finished my beer and would have liked another but server never returned. Drank my water and then other people’s water by the time I was done my meal. Was well over an hour before the server stopped by to see if we needed anything after we had finished our meals. Plus the place is just dirty; floors inside especially. Live in Leduc and used to enjoy this restaurant but won’t likely go back. I realize staffing likely an issue so I have sympathy for businesses right now but sorry, I also can’t justify spending $130 for 4 people to end up with poor food...
