I have being going specifically to the location in Lloydminster at 4504 44st for years now, since it’s close to my work and my house. I also go often to pick up lunch for my work staff atleast twice a week, I have never once had any sort of issue the staff was always great especially at night time I always seen Kimberly working and she was great to deal with. During the summer I ride my streetbike to work everyday. After work I went there just after 6 pm, placed my order and waited 15min in line(no big deal at all the people in front of me had large orders and I was in no rush) but when I got to the window the East Indian lady started yelling at me saying they can’t serve me unless I came inside. I was very confused as I have gone through the drive though over hundred times specially at that location. I explained that there was homeless people around the corner since this location isn’t on the best part of town and that I didn’t want to leave me bike unattended as they could easily just push it away and I also explained that I’m in full motorcycle gear I didn’t want to come inside with everything on take my helmet off etc. I was extremely polite the whole time even after she just yelled at me and slammed the window in my face twice, I also was sitting on my bike the entire time I wasn’t standing. I thought it must have been a misunderstanding so I asked to speak to the manager or someone in charge. She said her shift lead was there. That’s when a heavier set white guy came around the corner, he wouldn’t open the window up he even stood about 5 feet back from the window and started yelling very loudly that I had to leave right now so I did. I still am in shock that this happened I’ve never been yelled at or even treated bad at any place in my life it was a very embarrassing experience. Me and everyone at my work has been going elsewhere since this happened we are all shocked that this happened. I then drove to the a&w on the Alberta side of town on 44st with my streetbike, went through the driveway with zero issues like it’s always been. Thanks for taking the time to read this I’m very disappointed this happened at the place I go to the most frequently
I also would like to add that the lady at window kept yelling I can’t be on foot or on a bicycle. The motorcycle clearly isn’t a bicycle it’s 400lbs with a engine on it, I showed her the license plate and showed the registration that said vehicle right on it but she still was yelling and that’s when she slammed the...
Read moreWorst A&W experience yet. As usual my food was packaged sideways. Not sure who thinks this is how burgers are made but they were all settled to the bottom when I got home... Maybe more of us need to complain to corporate. My milk expires tomorrow... I was taking it for lunch tomorrow. Probably good but still too close for buying from a restaurant. My Teen burger was a wreck, one strand of onion and no bacon? The only things good about this trip were the lollipops. 👍 I did call and spoke with a supervisor to let them know of the experience. They were very responsive and apologetic. They seemed very courteous and honest, they understood the packaging issue but did specify that is corporate designs. I would love to speak face to face with whoever thought putting a burger on its side was a great idea for a franchise. I was offered a replacement order and told that staff would be informed so that quality control will be enforced. Not empressed with the food, but happy with supervision response. Things should...
