Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

Went there for my first time the other day. All combos are basically the same price....ish or cheaper at other places. But those places give you a 710ml of soda. Or at least a 600 ml of fountain. Here....you get charged this huge price for a meal that only includes a 355 ml can of soda. That amount of soda pop will only fill a medium fountain cup halfway. Good chicken but let's be honest. Chicken is suuuuuper easy to make great and I know, you know that there is a lot of "quality" chicken places in this city. It's basically paying the same price for the same quality...but with half the drink. Too bad. Felt like some Mary Brown's today but with prices, on all things, the way they have been and will be....you must find the good deal. Bucks for local chicken.......doesn't seem right if all you get is a sweat bead of soda with it. Undereducated people might say, but yea. It's chicken, not red meat. BS! Chicken, in the long run...in this province and on the prairies is cheaper to produce per pound than red meat is.

Is this how it's going to be when the provincial barriers come down? You going to charge your own people outrageous prices just because we're not going U S anymore? That's a big shame and won't go over well if it gets a "don't go", from the internet or worse yet...local word spread. Thank you for your time. Sometimes profit is greater when not forced into over paying from greed.

Love stopping at this place every time I pass thru Lloydminister and grab gas at the Coop, they have the friendliest staff and great food. Great place to eat especially when travelling because it tastes more like a homestyle meal not greasy like other ready made food. Will continue...

First time having Mary Brown's and was overall happy with my experience. Everything was fresh, one downfall was drinks come in cans and bottles. Also there is no change table in the washroom had to change my daughter on the floor. For these reasons I'm not sure...
