Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

In Lloyd for work and I wanted to try Popeye's as I'd heard good things. Nope, nothing good there. 17 bucks for a 3 piece meal and guess what you get? A thigh, a leg and a...wait for it...a WING. Are you kidding me. I asked about what I was going to get for that wonderful news and I foolishly asked if I had to pay more to get a breast. Haha, silly me. No you just get what you get. Popeye's is much too important for us little people.

The young lady that served me went above and beyond as she first tried to get a small breast thrown in for the wing. Nope! She was working against management and that wasn't going to happen. She did manage to get me another thigh and I appreciated it. In the end she ended up slipping in a breast as they didn't have any more thighs and I didn't want to wait all day. You could see by the people waiting when I walked in that it's a normal thing...but for what? Some of the finest chicken money can buy? Nope!

I got back to the hotel and found that my coleslaw was missing. Oh well, a small price to pay for the breast. The chicken was amazingly...meh... Not memorable at all. Needed salt, needed flavor. The onion rings were average. The blueberry cream cheese doodad was alright. Everything was greasy.

So if you like: Long waits for your "fast" food Chicken that's no better than KFC and is average at best And not getting a breast piece in a 3 piece meal for 17 dollars

Don't bother, I know I won't be. Glad I was able to try it but I won't bother in the future. It's not worth it.

The only reason I gave two stars is for the young lady...

It just seemed like they were waddling and not walking/rushing to get things done. I was waiting the one just doing nothing for almost 8 minutes straight and they messing around laughing. Not sure if they short staff but it seemed like it. Could of told people that burgers were slow but didn't until 3 orders after me. Or even let me and the others know I could change my order if I didn't want to wait that long. Seen 8 groups of orders go while I was still waiting and told others that it's slow to save them time if they wish. The food, fries were cold and didn't get the extra Lettuce or Large Fries like I asked, ngl the burger but that extra Lettuce would been great and it was alright, didn't get charged for those at least after getting back at work. Waited 20 minutes for my order... could of and should of went somewhere else. This was a horrible experience for rush hour. Won't be goin there...

Service can be made more better by taking order wisely and making sure all what has been ordered can be prepared on time for the customer so they do not have to wait more than given time for example while waiting for my order I saw a customer ordered nuggets and when he was supposed to collect the order he was told that there is few pieces short and will have to wait for it and the customer insisted that what ever is available can be packed and secondly my order same thing happened I ordered 16 pieces spicy chicken and told to wait for 8 minutes and at the end my order was also short with 4 pieces and was told if I can take normal chicken so that is what I observe which should me handled and service should be made accordingly other wise food...
