Updating my review since the last time I complained about their employees... They were doing much better on that part, though inexperienced, at least they weren't rude. That was my main issue before.
However I go there for the donaires and paying money for a little bit of shredded unflavored cheese is not what a donair is...
I get that you're probably trying to save money, but you need to do a slab of cheese like Extreme Donair for example... I'm new to town, and I've never in my life had a donair with shredded Cheese, that's just bizarre.
I don't care if you charge a little bit more for it, you just need to put the right cheese on it. When I eat my donair, I want to notice that there's cheese, not just pay for a ghost that doesn't exist.
And as for those other people who keep saying How they're the best donaires around, It's really not hard to be the best one around when everything around Lloyd is pretty low quality in my opinion. Other than that your stuff is great, but you might as well just not even bother with the cheese, can't...
Read moreAWESOME EXPERIENCE!!. IT'S THE SMALL THINGS IN LIFE THAT SHOW THAT YOU CARE!!!What a wonderful establishment. I first had the opportunity to come here a month ago. I told the owner I was new to town, he graciously helped me pick what I wanted and gave a taste of what they have. He topped it off by giving me a free don-air on the house. WOW, I never have had such good customer service. Everyone is bright and smiling. The atmosphere here, is awesome. I was so welcomed, like I was just part of the family. I am today at there establishment, again patiently working on my work assignment on my laptop. I asked them if it was fine, they said go ahead. What really makes this a WOW experience, when one of the employees, comes and gives me ice water, without me even asking. That is customer service! These guys care, you will not be disappointed. I am a life customer, since I have never been treated in such a...
Read moreGood food with a wide variety on the menu Subs donairs and soups with lots of other choices as well.
I went in at lunch and it definitely takes some time to get through the line up as its Subway style where you tell them exactly what you want on your sammy and go on down the line.
1 complaint is that the sub bread is not submarine shaped it is flat like a long panini or something. It tasted great but the point of a sub is that one end is completely enclosed and therefore it's less messy to eat because the fillings can only fall out one side.
With the weird panini bread they use for a sub it is able to leak fillings from both sides like a tradition sandwich. I wanted to eat while driving so this was actually a big annoyance. But it was delicious so that sort of makes up for the bread...
