Fatburger Lloydminster — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

Super slow service and food is overpriced. Good food, just expensive. Had to wait 20 mins for a to go order.

FOH cashier speaks so fast and quietly that you don't even know what you're ordering. You try to ask questions and all they try to do is rush you through to get to the next person. I wanted to get a certain burger without fried egg. Before I could continue my order he constantly spoke over me and would not listen telling me I should just build my own burger! How hard is it to take an egg off?!! When I received my burger my side that I ordered with the burger was not there. I asked him and he said I didn't order it even though he had repeated it back to me originally. Also ordered a to go order with our dine in and only received it after finally going back up to The counter and asking where it was. The receipt we received was only the debit and not the till receipt so we can't even see what we paid for. Ridiculous! I work in the service industry as well and coming here is nothing but a sh*t show. I will never come back. Oh we finally got the till receipt and they charged me $1.29 to take the damn egg off!!!!! The lady at the counter was extremely rude. I told her I was celiac and could she please let the kitchen know to change their gloves and be as careful as they can with cross contamination. She not only rolled her eyes but punched my burger in on a bun. When I mentioned I have an allergy to wheat she said “I have to punch this in again” with attitude. She didn’t tell the kitchen about my allergies and I honestly don’t know if she knew what I was talking about. I took my food & ended up throwing it in the garbage and went to another establishment because it’s not worth getting sick or causing a big issue. I will NOT be back. I do not recommend this location for anyone with any sort of allergies.

I’ve been to this location before but this review is for my visit yesterday, August 1, 2024.

The food was appalling. I’ve been to fatburgers all over Canada and never had a terrible food experience except for yesterday.

The bun I received for my burger was a sesame seed bun that was a generic grocery store purchase. The bun was dry and far too big for the tiny patty I received on it. I ordered a burger with no cheese but received cheese anyways. The fries needed salt and were a different cut than the ones I’ve received from fatburger before.

I realize that I could have gone back with these issues, however I was passing through and did a pickup order so by the time I realized the issue with my order, I was already outside of Llyodminster and couldn’t justify turning around.
