Every food item we got was great. But right off the bat I hated the service. We came in knowing what we wanted (the all you can eat menu) and we knew the price of the menu. We told the waitress and she got us the paper to order our first round of food. She told us to start less... and order more (As you would at any other all you can eat place?) if we wanted to because we would be charged for food we did not eat. We placed our first order and she came to get the order paper and said "that's all? Order more. Why would you get the all you can eat for this." And walked away and made us pick more off the menu before she rung in our order. At this point I wanted to walk out, to me that was unbelievably rude. First of all, we didn't want full sized orders and wanted a bunch of little things. That is why we got the all you can eat menu. We knew what we wanted and wanted to start with a few items not a sh*t ton all at once. Anyways, after she got over herself and actually rung in our order we ended up ordering 2 different sheets of a variety of food. The food was great, but the second time around before even receiving our order she needed to come back to us and ask what we ordered again because they threw out our order sheet. After we were done, we waited for our bill and it never came for over 15 minutes. We ended up needing to get up and go to the front to ask to pay for our bill. I will be going elsewhere in the city unless the service is better. I shouldn't be told how much I want to order, when I am paying that much money to eat food I should be able to order what I want on my own terms. Not have the waitress tell me to order more food.

ALL YOU CAN EAT in big bright red letters takes up 40% of the window space only to be served 2/7 days 28% of the week. Weak. Gave it a try at 2:30. Approached by an awkward boy with bad news right off the start, “we close all you can eat at 3:00 so you can only order once”. Can I order food after 3 from the menu? “No” Whatever I’ll try your food. 36 rolls ordered and received 24 rolls. I ask if there was a miss count and 10 min later the remaining rolls came. When I received my bill the awkward boy attempted overcharging $4. When I asked where he got that price from as it shows up nowhere on the menu he awkwardly apologized and corrected the bill. Went back for a second time much earlier and with a friend. Was only given one all you can eat menu for the table. Arguing with the awkward boy about their menu policy as it makes no sense when all the food comes out you have no idea who’s is who’s and what is what. The food is good but the server left a bad taste in my mouth both times. I don’t think I’ll return unless lunch is bought. I will make my own rolls. Save my money and my stress.

After reading a bunch of reviews, Me and the wife weren't sure about even coming here, We came in anyway, sure glad we did because the sushi was very excellent. If your looking for good sushi this is one fell into that category for us. Description, Smoked Salmon, dynamite rolls, Salmon, tuna, surf clam, mackerel, scallops sashimi Philadelphia roll, volcano roll There was a UFO piece on the plate with eggplant and some other stuff I can't quite remember but holy smokes was it delicious. If you see a UFO on the menu make sure you order one, two or six, Wasn't a big fan of the snapper sashimi but the rest of it was really good.. All you can eat only on Friday, Happy Eating

Very good food menu, tasty food and sushi rolls, everything especially the sashimi was fresh. The only dish I did not enjoy was the Hot and Sour soup, taste more like Sweet and Sour soup YUCK. Also, you may want to avoid their UNCOOKED shrimp dumpling. The reason I gave this restaurant a 3/5 star only is because the waitress' (female, restaurant manager, pony tail, petite) customer service was horrible. Totally racist towards people of her own ethnic background! IF you are 1] non-asian, 2] small eaters; 3] quiet (you don't question about the food); and/or 4] picky (as in you only order the non-expensive filling food items such as tempura and sushi rolls --- this is where they earn profit from you because sashimi is expensive)...THEN congrats, you will receive EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!!! Reason is because they are making money off you so the manager's happy and wants you to come back LOL pathetic but hey, great tactic! My husband and I ordered the usual regular decent amount of food, this woman yells to the kitchen staff in mandarin thinking that we don't understand "Aiy..... big eaters!" when we submitted our second order. Some orders from the first round did not show up (makes me wonder if they really have it or just for show) OR the amount was unreasonably little (stingy). 1 quantity of beef and tuna tataki for 2 people, exactly 4 tiny thin slices in total. Really??? I'm not accusing her of bad service, I've observed her the entire time, she only smiles and talks friendly to non-asian customers, she had an attitude problem with us and another asian family, brought out our dish like we're prisoners. Note to Woman: This is why you got what you deserved, less than the standard 10% before tax tip from me. Either she is naturally arrogant towards asians or she's doing it purposely so that my husband and I won't come back... Of course you poor woman, we eat what we pay for and we know how/what to order to make our money worth it!! If you are a victim of her poor service, I recommend that you remain frank and polite. These kind of people will spit in your food and do other nasty stuff in your dish and you wouldn't know it. Nonetheless, I will still go back only because the restaurant's food really is amazing, better than Edmonton's Watari, Sushi Garden, Lava Rock... you name it. At least on our first visit because she does ask if it's your first time in this restaurant -- they want to impress you so they make sure everything is top notch. Until this woman improves her service, she will continue to get her below standard tip that her crappy service deserves. After all, she isn't the owner (I believe) and she is definitely not worthy of you giving your business to other restaurants that are just not as great. I hope you find my review helpful and kindly do me a favour... give her LESS tip and devour the restaurant LOL. ...

I have never been so angry leaving a restaurant as I was with this place. We came for the new all you can eat the server was awful she handed us the menus without explanation and walked away. We filled in the card and added things from the menus onto the card thinking they just forgot a sheet. She told us we would have to pay extra for those items tho it didn't say so anywhere on the menu we agreed. She then came back to tell us it was the dinner items and they don't offer those until 3pm (it was 2:50pm)

2 of or party wanted regular menus because they wouldn't eat enough. She didn't even bother to take their order they had to go to the counter and ask.

They brought out our tempura and soups, she didn't bring our chopsticks napkins and stuff we had to again go up and ask.

It took 2 hours for them to bring all the items from our first order we waited 15 mins between the small amounts they did bring. Even then they forgot a few things and brought us wrong items.

Twice we found hair in our sushi rice and said something she just took the piece and left, we didn't make a stink we just didn't eat the 2 pieces.

They hovered over us to make sure those getting al you can eat were the only ones eating it (btw it was kids not eating off the all you can eat)

When we ordered 4 ice cream on the sheet and asked for 2 more for the kids they brought only the buffet people ice cream so we again had to go up and ask for the kids to which the very RUDE owner said "you have to pay for their ice cream, it's not included with the menu". "Yes we know that we didn't ask for free ice cream!"

After we were done our ice cream the owner came over and said "you know you still have other food we haven't finished making yet." "

It's been 2 HOURS since we ordered that food we thought you forgot.... don't bother bring it we are full now."

She got annoyed and walked away. (It was dumplings and some sushimi it doesn't take 2 hours to get that...

We told them we were unhappy with the service and she processed to argue with us she refused to do anything saying "so what you ate the food didn't you?" "Yea because we sat here for 2 hours!! 6 people we were hungry."

We will never return and we really hope that others consider...

A "no star" would have been more appropriate. We loved to eat here in the past, but not anymore. If you don't want to read a lot, skip to the end - the part about chemicals. Every time we go there we get food we did not order. My husband even took a picture of our order sheet, prior to our waiter adding in one item himself (volcano). Sure enough, one thing came to our table with 8 pieces when our order was only 4. Do that to a couple with a few items and they can't eat it all and then are charged extra for them - great scam they have going there. However, that was not the worst of our experience on Feb 25, 2022. I LOVE salt and one dish was SO salty I could not even eat it. We did choose to let them know why we could not eat that one item. At that time in telling the manager, her only concern was to tell us we would be charged 7.95 for the other 6 pieces of sushi left - FOUR pieces would equate to what we did not order. So, that $7.95 was actually for TWO pieces we could not eat. The most unreal part of this experience though was at the cash register when both the manager and cook were yelling at us. That cook yelled, "You ordered too much." For an all you can eat, really? When the reality was that waiter told us that quote, "It was too big so he cut it in 8 pieces." Excuse me? We ordered FOUR ONLY. What a joke. The manager even called my husband a liar, that he used an old picture. Lol, her waiter added in one item for us after my husband's picture. These guys are horrible at customer service so be prepared, if you say anything about your order or their food doesn't taste good and you could not eat it, you will be berated ! We paid their extra $6.95, the manager had a heart at the cash register to only charge us that for the TWO pieces of sushi we ordered that we could not eat. Last but not least! I do not know what they put in their food but my husband had a serious reaction while we were still eating. Their food has copious amounts of sauces on their food/disgusting and we have no idea what they add to it. We only have gotten ill once eating there, but this being the second time, we will...
