I ordered from here because all the reviews were good to better. I ordered for pick up. It was $65 for Shanghai Noodle, Chicken chow mien, sweet and sour chicken balls, spring rolls, deep fried shrimp, plain chop suey and chicken fingers and fries. So I am not going to order from them again. The food tasted good except for the chicken chow mien. I didn't like the chicken chow mien. When I opened it up, it looked exactly like the chop suey, but with soggy noodles and small bits of chicken. I didn't try the shanghai noodles because I don't like the fat noodles, bu the rest of the family seemed to like it. The chicken balls were impressive with mostly chicken in the batter, the shrimp were ok. I am very picky and the chow mien is what I like most. The food was mostly good. They wrapped the leaky food in plastic bags which was good to see, the fried stuff had tin foil on the bottom to not burn through with the hot food, I liked that. They included plum sauce, soy sauce, and fortune cookies. My daughter says its good. My son liked the chicken ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a hospitality professional I am amazed at what happened yesterday. So when they dropped the bill at our table, I left my cash payment with a tip on the table and we start getting up slowly, putting on our jackets, I turn back and start saying thank you... It was delicious...the usual... They start yelling in Chinese that I didn't pay and run towards me, even as I'm telling them the money is on the table. Why would I be thanking you and taking so slow to leave, I've never stolen from anyone, and no offense if we were dine and dashing you'd never see it happen... that's pretty insulting... I won't be eating there again, I recommend you don't as well. Just clueless hospitality. How dare you assume I'm a thief, if you want me to pay at the counter then say that to me when you drop the bill, start using your broken English. I've never felt so insulted in a restaurant, and hope it gets exactly what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just found a hair in my hot n sour soup. Apparently it's the last of it for today. Strange since ANY other restaurant I've ordered hot n sour soup, they require time to make it. The consistency was off big time as well. As for our other portions, we had Shanghai noodles that tasted of soy sauce. Chicken fried rice that had parts that seemed to be dried out from sitting too long, sweet n sour pork that was mostly fat. All three of these portions were presented on a small oval plate, I always leave with enough leftovers to eat a second meal when I go for Chinese food. Tonight, I'm going to have to go for burgers on the way home. Thanks for the lesson...
