Ice cream and Ice cream cakes are great! I recently got an ice cream cake from them for my girlfriendâs birthday. Turned out really well.
The issue I had was with a female who I believe was the manager. She was very degrading towards me. I asked if I could pay for the cake upon pickup while talking to staff since I just spent over $200 and they said that was an option. As they were answering me to say yes, the manager cut in the conversation and said that she would prefer that I pay in advance in a very unpleasant manner. I said âwell I just spent over $200 today so I would prefer to pay when I actually see the cake and when I get paid again.â She responded saying that I can do that if I want to but she prefers I pay for it in advance. This made me feel kind of uncomfortable and as if she had something against me. I knew I would come back for it and pay to get it of course (which I did). I feel like she needs to reevaluate her approach to things, and learn what to say and what not to say to people as this turned me away from this location potentially going forward.
EDIT Changing my rating from a 4 start to a 2 star due to my last experience. Shivam the Shift Manager is completely rude and ignorant. I ordered 2 burger meals with 2 blizzards through Uber. I received 2 blizzards and 1 fry. No burgers or my other fries. After calling them to confirm, they affirmed that they forgot to give the driver my burgers and fries. It was 8 minutes to close and he told me I could come pick it up? Well by the time I wouldâve got there it would be closed. After mentioning that, he said I âcould come pick it up tomorrow thenâ after expressing my frustration regarding that he told me he was going to âput the phone down and I can let him know when Iâm done talkingâ. Called me âbroâ a lot of times on the phone in a complete unprofessional manner and also laughs a few times while on the call. He wouldnât provide the customer service number, which was stated to me by head office that they all know the number. When I mentioned I would be contacting head office he said âgreat my name is Shivam, do you want me to spell it out for youâ. Complete disrespect and ignorance. Not very managerial...
   Read moreI've been going to this Dairy Queen for years I was really disappointed with the customer service last night. We come in the establishment and it takes over 5 minutes for a staff member to even acknowledge that we are waiting. Several employees are looking at us but turn around and continue to clean and or go to the back. Finally we are told we will be helped in just a second and the same employee continues to clean the already clean counter?
With COVID I appreciate all the cleaning but it wasn't busy inside and if they just greeted us quickly and took our order they could have still cleaned.
When we were finally allowed to order the employee didn't seem very thrilled to be taking our order and wasn't very pleasant. I worked in customer service for years specifically in food, I understand the feeling but when I saw a customer my customer service voice always came out. This is a great place to come but with all those employees it just seemed really silly how long it took to be serviced.

   Read moreWe ordered 3 blizzards. We got home and I found pieces of plastic in my blizzard. I called the store and told the manager what happened. He never once apologized and passed the phone to a worker. I had to re tell my situation to the worker and all he said was we can give you a complimentary blizzard. I explained to him that when something like that happens you need to apologize for what happened. He replied by saying he wasnât the first person I talked to and still didnât apologize. When I asked to speak to the manager he was to busy doing inventory so another person came to the phone. When asked to spell my last name they repeatedly said they couldnât hear me to the point where I had to just hang up the phone out of frustration. I felt they did this intentionally and thought it was funny. The customer service was bad and I could have really injured myself. I will never go back...
