Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Clarington

I'm not sure what's going on at this location. I've been a fan of Pizza Nova for ~10 years. I stay away from all other Pizza places because nothing quite compares to a good Pizza Nova pizza.

I've primarily been a customer of Nova in North York. But moved out to Oshawa a few years ago. So I've been ordering exclusively from the Courtice location for a long time.

I have no idea what's going on at this location. But they seem incapable of actually cooking a pizza to completion. The past 3 pizzas that I've ordered have come extremely undercooked. Today's pizza takes the cake as the problem is starting to get worse. I'd estimate that the pizza is being pulled from the over ~10 minutes early. Or that the pizza oven isn't getting up to the right temperature.

Shocking to see this happen because cooking a pizza properly isn't difficult in general. Let alone for a huge chain like this one.

I am not paying a premium price for a half cooked pizza. And yes, I've tried ordering "well done" from this location and it still showed up undercooked.

Seems like whoever owns this place doesn't have the same pride or care that you get at other Pizza Nova locations.

I will find a mom and pop shop here in Oshawa the next time the need for pizza hits me. I won't continue wasting money on sub par...

Was told not to bring my Guide Dog (I’m blind) & (trained by the lions Foundation Of Canada Dog Guides) with me next time. That “customers complain” I explained that She is a fully trained guy dog that I’m blind And it is against the law to deny me access. I offered to show my ID which they refuse to see. I called the customer service to ask for a supervisor. They did not want to come to the phone to receive the call, eventually he did & I’m unsure what the supervisor said to him as he hung up. The two employees continue to complain in their language (unknown which language they were speaking). But it was obvious to me they were speaking about me as they seemed angry. Once I received my pizza, I asked for an apology and I was told that he didn’t deny me. “He never said that”. I have been in this establishment before and I’ve never had issues with my guide dog. I am completely Disgusted and furious that I was treated this way. I have had guide dogs for 32 years & I do not expect to be Told to not bring the dog next time. I even informed the employee possible owner to check their documents from the health department, which clearly states that guide dogs are exempt from the health code...

What a waste of my money. How can this quality even pass quality control? This is not what I was expecting to feed my guest. Burned pizza on the entire part of the party pizza. This was a party size to feed people, and not disappoint my guest. I totally feel ripped off!But what can I do? Maybe next time I get a better quality.. right pizza nova? You let me down this time. But I am willing to try to order once again and let this order slide. But maybe not a party box now to avoid this same scenario. I would just probably get a large chicken pizza with onions and green peppers? LoL seems legit. Anyways, I am looking forward for a better quality on my next order. This location in Courtice seems better than the other once’s nearby too! But hopefully it would be a much better experience on my next order with this location. I will give it another chance. I was expecting a better quality considering I am paying much more than the competing pizza joints nearby. Thanks for the burned...
