I frequent this pizza spot weekly. However, it is extremely hit or miss. One visit it will be the best pizza ever and the next it’s barely edible. No cheese, barely any toppings (when I ordered double) dry flavourless crust. The fries will be fresh and delicious the next order they are over cooked, so dry and hard you can’t get a fork in them. Even the pasta was filled to the brim and delicious, the next time we ordered the container was not even half full and over baked. The consistency is seriously lacking. We never know what we are going to get. I’ve picked up my order and 10 mins later have had to drive back to get something rectified. Now I check my food in the car before I leave. Why do we keep coming back? 1) The sauce!!! I don’t know what’s in that pizza and pasta sauce but I could eat it like soup. They could fill a trough with it and I’d happily join the pigs and shove my face in. It is that good. 2) When the food is good, it’s GOOD. So we just cross our fingers every time and hope for the best. Other than the pizza I also recommend the penne pasta in rosé sauce. Again, just fill up a trough. They are friendly workers but with the consistency of the orders lacking I can’t give them higher than a 2. Sometimes the food is a 5, sometimes a 1 or 2. So I rated a 3 for now. Maybe one day we’ll find a pizza place we like just as much with more...
Read moreMy first experience with Goodfellas Pizza was when a friend ordered some for an event a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! The pepperoni is the real deal in its huge meat disc deliciousness, tonnes of cheese and light on the sauce so not to be plagued with heartburn. Last night I ordered pizza & some boneless wings for delivery to my place of business, the staff was friendly and helpful and the driver was fun & super easy going. The pizza as expected was fantastic! I really loved the thin crust (I somehow had missed the first time around) and the toppings were not sparingly placed. The boneless wings were also great (nothing really to write home about, but yummy non the less) with their included veggie sticks & dressing. My staff also loved it (maybe because it was free for them lol) and left nothing for the compost. I for one would certainly recommend Goodfellas and give it a go for yourself, for me this feels like the closest thing to "real pizza" and I will definitely be indulging again very soon! Great pizza, great customer...
Read moreFirst the good: the Greek salad was fantastic. On the other hand the pizza was worse than a frozen box pizza. The dough was sweet and chewy (we ordered it thin crust and well done too), the pepperoni was huge (Brooklyn style) and gross. The boneless chicken wings were tasteless and must have been cooked from frozen and not freshly prepared there.
I ordered the Family combo (2 x XL w/two toppings) and they don't sub. I asked for one topping on one and three and the other as I have already paid for it and was told no! The combo also included a 2L pop that I was told to take at room temperature. I asked for a cold one and they said they didn't have one. They fridge only accommodated cans and small bottles.
This is a horrible place and I will never go back and frankly can't believe it has stayed in business. The people that give it 4 and 5 stars clearly have never had pizza or good service...
