The food taste fine. Staff very friendly. Place is clean.
Topping selection is a little sparse, but the real bone I have to pick with this place is that the staff is extremely skimpy with the already small selection of toppings.
There are maybe 6 toppings you can choose from and you're only allowed to pick 4 of them. Were talking corn... salsa... tomato... cheap cheap stuff here. And forget trying to substitute cheese for any more toppings. Guacamole is extra... MAYBE I can see that. But if you want BBQ sauce you're expected to pony up .25 cents for each teaspoon.
It's extremely apparent to me that saving pennies on toppings is far more important to the management than a great tasting meal and customer satisfaction.
Last time I visited, I asked if I could substitute cheese for a little extra guacamole and the response I received was "guacamole is expensive."
I'd be happy to change my rating if I noticed a significant change in the values of this establishment, but seeing as there is a new burrito joint opening up walking distance from this one, there is a slim chance that I will...
Read moreWent here late, they were closing so I was the last customer for context. The food was surprisingly good. I usually like to go to authentic Mexican places when I want Mexican food, rather than a chain. But this was serendipitous for sure. We got the grill chicken and chorizo tacos, they come as 3 small tacos. I ordered dips on the side and 2 Jarritos drinks. I asked for 1 more cheese dip and asked the lady if she could just throw it in, being that I had ordered all this stuff and y’all are closing. She smiled, and proceeded to fill the container and still charged me for it lol, Only to go throw it out when I walk out, because they were closing and they make them fresh. Knowing how to sustain customer retention can be worked on here. Yes I get it, it a business and I need to pay for stuff, but a free cheese dip at the end of the night is not going to break the float. Doesn’t take away from how good the food was though. The servers could speak up a bit over the glass, otherwise,...
Read moreWorst burritos ever!
They used to have a good product...I used to enjoy their burritos and their burrito bowls. Not so much anymore. Although they’ve added some new items to their menu like the fake meat and quinoa, their overall food items aren’t what they used to be. My burrito was greasy (I had the pulled pork), and the toppings (burrito sauce, salsa and sour cream) were bland, the cheese was non-existent basically...it just wasn’t a good burrito. I don’t know if they’re trying to compete with the new Mexican grill in town, but I’ll take the other place over this restaurant any day. Two burritos, which included $3 of extra queso and guacamole, and one canned pop, came to $27!! We could have gone to the other burrito place for better food and way cheaper. We won’t be going to Mucho...
