LONG POST ALERT!!!! STOP RIGHT AWAY IF YOU ARE HERE SEEING THE INSTAGRAM REEL OF 20$ BUFFET.

To start with we entered and nobody attended us, wasn’t sure if we should wait to be seated or just directly take the tables. Then a girl in hijab attended us, she clearly looked tired and overworked who handed us the plates.

Starters: Vada- 0/10. Break pakora - 0/10(burnt,hard to chew and hardly any potato filling) Potato coconut balls- 4/10(honestly no taste) Samosa: store bought ready to eat samosas. Spring roll: 5/10. Fries: I make better McCain fries in my air frier.

Mains All the pans were empty by the time we went for meat section , it was just the gravy and no one bothered to refill it. I still tried one leftover chicken piece from chicken chilly pan and it had a weird smell as if it was almost about to go bad. The gravies were extremely tangy(paneer masala) and butter chicken(extremely salty) even after pairing it with naan and rice.

ALSO I AM GUESSING THESE NAMES AS THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE DISH NAME LABELS.

Noodles : Decent

Desserts Vanilla / Chocolate Ice-cream : it was from a grocery store, like the one we get a big bucket for 5$ in Walmart, extremely poor quality.

Cookies and Banana bread( I guess because it did not have any taste for me to understand what bread it was!!!) was a JOKE! More like,” if you have strong teeth test” hard to chew.

Marble cake : decent.

Also the place was extremely unhygienic especially near the deserts as flies were hovering and all of the dishes were kept open. (Photos attached)

This is a genuine feedback to not waste your money on their so called “ limited time lucrative 20$ buffet”

Went for a take out order and as we were having guest come over we asked the wait time before placing order on appx time to get total of 5-6 pcs samosa (including per pc and in samosa chaat) along with 4pcs aloo tiki and aloo chat, was told 10-15 mins appx that’s why we ordered.

We paid and waited in our car.

15 -20 mins later my husband went back inside and got our samosa and was told there’s no aloo tiki so we requested to get our money back for aloo tiki cancellation. She said she’s not sure if she can do that!!!😡Then thr girl went inside the kitchen and no one came back outside for a while and ANOTHER 20 mins later they gave us the aloo tikis and chat as per original order instead of refund.

1st of all that was BIG WASTE OF TIME that we did not have especially when we first asked about total time before placing any order.

2nd the tikis were SO BADLY fried that it was falling apart from outside layer as we were taking out of brown paper bag it was packed in.

The staff has absolutely no management / communication skills from the start/finish even though it did not have more than one another customer apart from us.

If their SAMOSA is supposed to be their specialty as per the business name- we expected for at least that to be MADE IN HOUSE but have nothing more BUT DISAPPOINTMENT with over all experience!

We’ll...

This is my second time eating here and first time reviewing.

My first visit happened when Samosa Fusion was brand new in town, I did not have a good or bad experience. It was underwhelming. Today, I decided to give it another try because the restaurant I would have likely ordered from was closed. It was a very pleasant surprise!

Today’s experience was very positive. I picked up and the food was nice and hot and the portion sizes were fair. The samosas are large. I would almost be willing to say a little too large, however, the filling is flavourful. It is seasoned with a good level of spice and super plentiful. The naan is good and I thought the thickness was right. The only critique was that there was no garlic free option.

The biryani was tasty, there was a mix of light and dark meat. There was also a whole egg! There were pomegranate seeds which added a lovely pop of bright freshness. I would recommend it.

The chana masala was the star of the show. It was absolutely delicious. The chick peas were tender and perfectly cooked. I had selected the “hot” option and it was not at all too hot, but just right for a slight heat with amazing flavour. What a knockout vegetarian dish, order it! Now!

All of the sides and chutneys that came with the meal were generous and tasty. I’m glad I gave this place...

This Indian restaurant in Durham Region is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service from the friendly staff. The cleanliness of the place speaks volumes about their commitment to quality. Now, let's talk about the food – it's nothing short of extraordinary! I had the pleasure of trying their dahi vada, pani puri, garlic naan, and goat meat vindaloo. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the streets of India. The dahi vada was perfectly balanced, the pani puri had just the right amount of tanginess, and the garlic naan was divine. And don't even get me started on the goat meat vindaloo – it was an explosion of flavors that left me craving for more. To top it all off, they also have a delectable selection of sweets that are simply irresistible. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian sweets or looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, this place has got you covered. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in Durham Region. With delicious food, a clean atmosphere, and welcoming staff, it's a culinary journey you won't soon forget!

As a 'foodie' I try to enjoy delicious food in Durham region but I also have to venture to Toronto to get exceptional food sometimes. Not anymore... It's nice to know this hidden gem is right in my backyard. I absolutely loved the samosa chaat. It was rich and filling. With enough sauces for my liking. The butter chicken was extremely flavorful and I could tell it was made with real cream. It was thick and did not turn to a runny liquidy mess when it was reheated. This restaurant definitely has it all. Hakka Chinese & South Indian, Street Food, Chaat and sweets. I've never tried Gujiya or Jaleb. Being Holi it was a nice experience to try something new. I REALLY enjoyed the Gujiya which is like a dessert empanada with coconut inside. So yummy My other half really enjoyed the Manchurian Chicken and Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. This was honestly the BEST Biryani I've had in Durham. Hands down. The chicken was so tender and the whole dish was flavorful and fresh. My other half stole all the Biryani from me 😅 The rose shake was also a 10/10. Highly recommend. I drank mine in way too quickly. It was so delicious I definitely can't wait to come back and try some other dishes.
