I ordered a 6" mousse cake on Aug 30th at 9:30 PM and got an email that the cake will be ready on Aug 31th, 1:00 pm. I showed up at the store at 1:15 pm with my special woman in the car. She is waiting and looks forward to the cake. However, the storefront told me that they forgot to print the order. They can only give me the pre-make cake from the freezer, and it needs an hour to unfreeze to eat. Yes, the storefront said sorry to me, but that did not solve any of my issues that were caused by their mistake. I don't want to disappoint my wife so I brought two mochi bubbles. My wife asked me that do they offered those mochi bubbles as an apology, and I can only smile back at her. How can I tell her that I paid the full amount for someone's mistake so she won't feel disappointed? Good sales, but poor customer service skills. It led to a horrible customer experience.
updated============= The storefront reach out to me on behalf of the store by email after read the review. She told me that she phoned and asked manager to approve refund for the 6ā cake after I left. I got refund email this morning, Sep 1st. Due to this extra mile customer service, I will raise this review to 3 stars. I still want to try that cake when it is in the perfect condition.
Now, let's talk about the review for the cake. After unfreezing from room temperature for an hour. The inside of the cake is soaked in defrost water. You can feel the water inside the cake with every single bite. It washed away the strong taste that cake should provide. It wasn't the perfect condition for this cake. This cake could have tasted much better. I drove almost two-hour round trips for it. What can I say? I wish I could write the review with the best condition of this cake, but I got no choice. I will leave my honest comment.
Try their cake when it is fresh made. Call them in the morning so they don't forget your order. The 6" mousse cake isn't bad, but I wish no defrost...

The owner not only refused to acknowledge and learn from feedback and suggestions, they're very impolite, disrespectful and delete comments that is not in their likings. You can hope for a bad cook to improve bad tasting cake, but you can't trust bad people who have questionable moral value and business conduct.
2021 I love durian and had tried many from different bakers in Toronto. Savorology's durian cake is the best in appearance, unfortunately they're the most expensive but worst in taste.
I ordered a Durian Bomb. It's easy to order online. The cake was ready when I was there to pick it up. It was a smooth process.
The cake was stored in our fridge overnight. The next day early morning we took it out for a birthday surprise in bed, there's a big pool of water at the bottom of cake box. Something in the cake (probably mango jelly layer) sipping out water. It took me a long time to clean up the mess. Thank god the cake was still in good shape. We had no problem taking photos with it.
Taste wise, you can definitely tell it's from a low end bakery. The durian mousse has good flavor. Mango jelly and passion fruit mousse are good individually, but together they don't compliment each other or durian. The worst part is the cake layer. The texture is awfully rough and loose. It's only one tiny layer, but that's enough to make the whole cake giving out a very cheap impression. It's such a shame considering they put so much efforts in perfecting the appearance.
With such interesting appearance, Durian Bomb has the potential to get more attention and reach bigger market. Looking forward to seeing them fixing the few issues mentioned above so the cake is worth the...

Tried this place after seeing it on BlogTO - huge disappointment and this experience has left me discrediting BlogTO for their recommendation and skeptical of how they review places now.
Ordered online to have it delivered by a specific time. Driver didn't show up until 4pm (wanted it delivered before 2pm). When it arrived, the cake was lop-sided and stuck to the back of the box. I was told by a Savorolgy staff member, when I called at 3pm asking where our delivery was, that my order was picked up at 11am. It was 28*C that day, and my order was out in a car for 5 hours...so you can imagine all the desserts being luke warm... and semi-melted.
Mochi Balls - the taste, texture and consistency were horrible. Mochi dough didn't even have the texture mochi, it seemed like it melted during the delivery process and was all gooey. Flavours were lacking as well.
Black Forest Cake - lacking cherries and chocolate cake flavour. The cream filling they used was not appropriate for a Black Forest Cake and the cake overall did not taste like a Black Forest Cake at all. The chocolate shavings were even lacking chocolate flavour. Everything was lacking its true flavour.
Overall, just really disappointed. Do not recommend coming here but go at your own risk if you're the type to see...
