My experience with Stacked wasn't terrible but it also was nothing special.
Came for an early lunch mid week to finally try because I had heard mostly positive things about this restaurant.
My fiance and I were quickly greeted and seated. We were then given a large menu that housed many options. Maybe too many because we both had a challenging time just looking through and even deciding what to eat.
I had my heart set on trying the pancakes so I finally settled on the Cinnabon pancake stack. My fiance was in the mood for eggs benedict so she got the spinach and peamale eggs benny.
The food was subpar. The pancakes were very sweet but had a good taste. The top pancake that was covered in the Cinnabon sauce was great but I found the other pancakes that weren't covered were just a little plain.
My fiance's meal was also just basic. She had asked for cooked whites with a runny yolk which she was told was a medium. When the food arrived the eggs were served hard. She also found the hollandaise sauce was pretty plain and there just wasn't enough.
We ate our food and paid the bills but just felt a little dissatisfied overall. It's tough for us to be impressed with food like this because we are capable of making this at home. We were just hoping for something a little more elevated considering we had heard good...
Read moreAvoid if you have dietary restrictions! The waitress with the red hair was not the kindest. I have dietary restrictions & asked if a menu item would fit my requirements. She replied with “I’m pretty sure” rather then going to check with the chef/manager, or offering any other options (which most waitresses at other restaurants will do for me if they are unsure). It seemed like she didn’t even care to give me an answer to my simple question. I am now not feeling well & am wondering if there was an ingredient in my dish that I shouldn’t have ate, which may have not happened had she taken the extra steps to ensure that my meal was okay for me to eat. I later politely asked if there were free refills on beverages. She replied with a firm “no.” Speaking in a friendlier tone rather than monotone could’ve made her seem more sincere. Maybe I just caught her on a bad day, but the friends I was with told me that she was their waitress last time & she was acting the same way. Regardless, normally you would expect your server to be very kind & friendly so I was a little shocked. I did find a hair in my dish & there was a hair in my friends’ water glass, but I didn’t feel comfortable bringing up this issue to her. My friends enjoyed their meal, & my meal tasted good, but I personally will definitely not...

Food was great but unfortunately their customer service is awful. The waitress we had was extremely rude. We were a party of 5 seated at a four person table. We asked to sit somewhere else and was told no. So once everyone sat down I stood there not knowing what to do as I had no chair at my parties table now and the waitress came up to me and said “aren’t you going to sit already” I replied “I have nowhere to sit” and she walked away. So I had to pull up a table just so I wouldn’t be alone and got a rude stare when doing so. Right then and there I knew I wanted to leave but unfortunately we stayed. Throughout our whole meal our waitress was rude, bringing our drinks saying “watch out” when she wanted to put it down. I understand people have bad days but no need to be rude to others. Only time she was friendly was when she brought our bill and we were paying. I emailed the restaurant and they just told me to come back and ask for a certain name that week. Well unfortunately I was busy that week and don’t feel comfortable asking for a name when I...
