I would like to start by saying I frequent this establishment often and always have a pleasant experience. Until today. It is fathers day and I took my husband and his 8 year old autistic son out for some fries (it's his treat and he loves it). We ordered 2 schooners of bud light beer and a plate of fries right away. The bartender (she was the opening bartender and the only one working at 11am) did not acknowledge the child at all (he loves saying hi to his servers) and did not acknowledge father's day either. After zero attention for about an hour we looked for her to order more fries for my husband's son. When we finally flagged her down we also ordered 2 more schooners. As we watched her pour us budweiser instead of bud light, we politely and kindly asked "are those for us" (again we were the only customers, so pretty obvious it was) and she said ya? We said oh we ordered bud light. She immediately got aggressive and defensive "no you didn't, I rang in bud". We didn't know how to react because we were being kind and were patient and low maintenance. The reaction seemed uncalled for. So we thought for a minute and before we could answer she yelled from across the bar "so you don't want these!" Obviously we didn't want to argue in front of our 8 year old son who wouldn't process that well, but we also didn't want to drink 32oz of beer we did not want or order. My husband finally said we will just take the bill. When she came over with it I tried to explain and apologize but all I could get out of my mouth was "I'm sorry but..." and she scoffed at me and rolled her eyes while slamming down the debit machine. I'd like to remind again this was all infront of an 8 year old boy who couldn't understand. It was absolutely horrible and completely ruined our fathers day outing. We are usually huge tippers and very calm and patient patrons. That was just insulting, demeaning, disrespectful, and I'm sure not the person you want representing your brand. This story will be told over and over. I've been a bartender my entire life and I would never DREAM of treating kind, paying, family oriented, customers like that, especially on a day for...
Read moreI've visit this Boston pizza very often and have spent quite a lot of money at this establishment and this is by far the worst dine in experience I've ever had at this location.
Upon arriving we did have to wait a while before anyone noticed we were waiting for a table. Once seated, we again waited 10 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us. Once she did she quickly asked what we wanted to drink and then walked away. She came back to take our order fairly quickly and we placed our order for cactus cuts, a pasta dish and the steak. We then waited for 40 minutes without anyone checking on us once. Our appetizer simply NEVER came. Once the food arrived the pasta dish was cold, and the steak was over done. For the duration of the meal no one came to check on us or ask if the food was okay, if they had I would have complained.
We were sat in the bar and it was clear the waitress was more interested in the customers ordering liquor than customers ordering food. You could clearly see other tables becoming annoyed because they were also sitting and waiting long periods of time for what they ordered. A man came and sat at the bar and waited more than 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging him, he asked us if he were waiting a long time for service and when we said yes and he made the smart decision to just leave instead.
The only thing we got fast was the bill. They have no problem being quick when it's time to get paid.
I'm very disappointed in this visit. It was not worth the wait for the food and the customer service was non existent. I feel ripped off. This visit makes it hard for me to want to come back. Good thing the Taunton location is just...
Read moreI recently went here for dinner and was a little disappointed. Normally this is one of my favorite spots as well as this location, but every time I go back it goes even more downhill. I live an hour away and was passing through and decided to eat dinner here. We ordered an appetizer, which were the garlic parmesan fries, there was not much of anything on the fries which was disappointing. I ordered a thai chicken wrap with no onion and with breaded chicken, with a side of spaghetti and three cheese toast. The three cheese toast was delicious and perfect, side of spaghetti was also great, lots of sauce and tasty but it was a very, very small portion. The chicken came out grilled, so I sent it back and reminded about the no onion. Wrap came back with onion and had to have a third one made. Had to get it to go because we were done at the point. When I ate it at home, it just wasn't as good because everything on the wrap was soggy. The other person I was with got a chicken sandwich and they had a hard time eating it because it was burnt and they got a side of caesar and that had way too much dressing on it so they didn't finish that either. The server was friendly and polite, however they never came back to the table to check on anything. I didn't get a drink refill until we were waiting for the bill. The atmosphere was loud, but it was busy. There was a team there helping the servers which was great and fun. Overall, I'm not sure if I would...
