Sasy's Pizza — Restaurant in Cole Harbour

I ordered a pizza in store late one night and asked that it be delivered as we had to get home to relieve the sitter, paid up front and gave a good tip ~25%. After waiting 2+ hours for delivery, I called to see where it was and was given various answers from "it's already been delivered," "It's almost there," etc..

At this point it was quite late and I said we don't want the pizza so would prefer to just get our money back. The person on the phone agreed but said I would have to come and get it, given the time I did not want to drive to the store. About 20 more minutes went by and the pizza finally arrived, but it was cold and had clearly been sitting for a long time. I tried a piece and it was not good, I put the rest in the fridge. We weren't able to get to the store to discuss the issue the next day but did the following day. I brought the pizza in and the folks working there said there was a mistake in the address when it was written down on the order. I agreed that these things happen but that was not communicated to me the night of the order. I then asked for a refund which was denied, they said I should have gotten it the night of the issue.

I wasn't asking for anything more than a refund which I didn't feel was unreasonable given...

There are many reasons why they’ve been around for 20+ years.

Donair meat is still spiced in house and the pizza dough is made fresh daily.

Another thing they do better than most places is use an actual stone pizza oven rather than a conveyer belt oven.

Awesome deals too!! Not sure if any other spot still does the special where you buy 2 donairs or subs and get a third for free.

Most importantly it’s a family run business. Not a chain. The employees are always greeting everyone with a smile.

Most disgusting pizza in all of HRM, payed $30 for pizza and garlic fingers, The garlic fingers dont even look or taste like garlic fingers AT ALL. Pizza was so soggy and gross, AND the donair sauce was SOUR!!! when I called to ask if I could return and get my money back with only 2 bits taken out of the whole pizza, the lady on the phone SCREAMED at me, & hung up on me!!! Worst customer service & even worse pizza. Never buy from here, waste of you money! Kenny's Pizza is where...
