Subway — Restaurant in Colwood

Stopped into this location after leaving the VGH ER unit. It was 948 pm so we figured it may not be open but the sign stated 10pm closing. I walked in, it was empty except a girl sitting behind the counter popped her head up and said “we are closed” The food still visible on the counter. I replied “it’s say 10 pm” then she replied “ok we are short staffed” I left the store and drove down the road to the Subway on Goldstream. will never go back to this subway. The guy making one of subs missed the pizza sauce that I asked him to put on the sub at THE beginning when he first started making our sub, and also got 2 of our cookies wrong. we called and apparently the manger said they only fix online orders and the guy that made our sub said we were wrong and that he re called asking me if I wanted sauce on the sub at the end. he is correct I meant non of the mayo or anything thinking he already put the pizza sauce on at the beginning like he was...

I stood there waiting for about ten minutes while the one guy behind the counter took care of the customer before me and a Door Dash driver. It was finally my turn and conveniently another person appears from the back.

The meat portions on the sandwich were smaller than what I normally get from other Subway’s. What really disappointed me was that the bread was stale. I didn’t get my sandwich toasted, but the bread was crunchier than if it had been toasted. It had probably been baked days prior.
